    I picked up 4 of these and have been confirmed to pickup now. Looking at the Gilette sale on CW it seems that this may have been a price error!?

    EDIT: Just picked them up and the staff confirmed it was a price error - get on it quick.

      Got a mail to pick them up. Was in a nearby suburb.
      Then got another email saying - Order cancelled.

      Called the store and they told me that head office has cancelled the order as it was priced low because of a system glitch

      I have been shopping around for an alternative to the Mach 3. Closest seems to be the Aldi 3 blade Prince version, but TBH it isn’t as good. Any suggestions?

        Buy some clippers and go for the three day growth look, it's so much easier to maintain and women seem to like it. I have no preference for razors, any of the three blade razors seem to work for me. My current razor is a Schick Extreme 3 because I got a 10 pack on sale.

    It was available in CW next door. First got a message that my order "is processing". In few minutes got a new message "requires an action". Apparently Out of Stock and I had 2 options: A: "Wait for restock" B: "Cancel and Refund". Selected A. Few minutes later got a message that my order has been cancelled :-(

    Gonna be that guy but ya'll are really intent on saving some long term cash invest in a safety razor. After the initial outlay the blades next to nothing and the razor itself will last a lifetime

        100 safety razor blades are $20 shipped on Amazon so 20c each is next to nothing compared to cartridge style blades. And IMO they last longer and don't get blocked 👍

      Agree with this. I set up with a badger hair brush, soap bowl and a nice solid metal safety razor, which cost me $200 in initial outlay as i wanted really nice stuff.

      Now i buy the blades for $15 for 100 pack and i'm still on my first 100 pack from 5 years ago.

      You could probably get set up for around $50 - $75 if you shopped around.

        Yep. $17 for Aldi's Schick double edge safety razor, $13 Proraso shaving soap, $11 razor blade kit (5 brands) and $29 Yaqi synthetic brush so $70 total. Only started a few months ago and still nick my self every few shaves but I love the process.

    What I can not understand is how long it takes for a product to be made unavailable once it is identified as a price error.

    They are apparently cancelling orders, however the price is still showing as $2.69 on the website.

    Surely they pull the product off the site first, fix the price in store and then cancel orders.

    EDIT: Product is now taken down "Sorry, the product you are looking for is no longer available"

    Ordered at a different store.
    Got confirmation and ready for collection.
    Then a few minutes later, a cancellation email comes through.
    Pretty sure this is a breach of ACL.

    It’s a shame law doesn’t apply when they confirmed your order is ready for pick up, they’ve agreed to that contract of sale. Cancelling after it has been processed and is ready to collect is a bit skanky TBH

      Imagine if it was a $2000 TV that they accidentally put up for $2. IMO it's not unreasonable to cancel after processing it is a legitimate error.

        Processing is done manually. That is their opportunity to reject or hold processing. For anyone who processes a TV @ $2, they really do deserve to incur the losses.
