For this type of pricing, I'd go for a 4k camera like the VIOFO A129 Pro duo.

Compares favourably even to the Blackvue DR900s.

RC500S is/was a great quality cam. Its Sony sensor was far superior to other well known brands at the time. (Especially for low light and/or high speed.)
But the others have now caught up, and some have surpassed it.
I still have a 2ch in my van. Has been faultless for over a couple of years now.
