Missed the last Gearbite sale and had my eye out for one of these. Seems like a good price with the carpet head

    $290 shipped.
Black Friday will surely have this for at least $200 shipped

  • What’s the lowest price?

  • +1

hm… no soft roller head? I'd wait for $200

    • Why do we need soft roller head?

      • -1

For carpet. The one that it comes with is for hard floors. Although we use the dustmite head for our rug and it does a damn good bloody good damn good job.

        • So you're telling me it's good yeah? Wasn't clear from what you said.

          • @xoom: 🤪🤙🏽🤘🏽

But in all seriousness, both my wife and I were very surprised as to how much better this vacuum performed compared to the Dyson DC45.

            • @Lizard Spock: I have the dreame v11. Its a good cordless vacuum.

    • Is the carpet motorised head no good for carpet? Trying to decide which is best for what. I guess ideally you'd want a motorised head and a soft roller head to cover all your bases?

      • +1

The carpet head is for carpet, soft roller head for hard floors. Carpet heads generally can be used for hard floors as well, but I find them often push debris on the sides far away so more effort to clean up. At this price I'd want to have the combo of both heads.

Ah thanks. Lizard Spock's comment above confused me because they said soft roller is for carpet which sounded strange to me.

Thinking long term, Are the batteries replaceable and readily available to purchase?

    • +1

from the other post the battery is replaceable. Just a matter of being able to buy the battery.

    • +2

There is no long term as it won't last long enough to replace.

  • Isn’t this $200 at Costco or am I mixed up again?

I have by the way and love it. Get the stretchy hose adapter for cleaning the car.

    • The $190 Mi Vacuum 1 at Costco is 100AW. I believe the Dreame v9 is 120AW so a bit more max suction power.

  • If you have a v6, this is not an upgrade. The lowest setting is useless. Setting 2 is still lower than the base setting on a v6. Battery life is less at full power.

    • +3

You mean the Dyson V6? Weird, I had them both side by side and the Dreame V9 surely is much more efficient on Setting 2, also a lot quieter.

      • Yeah dyson. I feel the sucking power of the dyson is better. Base setting vs setting 2 on the v9. Turbo mode is very similar, but you get half the amount of time. I have a motor head attachment on both

  • This or Dyson v7 motorhead?

What about warranty claim procedure ?

  • +2

Ours lasted around 6 months before it lost suction and had to be replaced. Be aware if it doesn't come with warranty.
