I have got Fitness Boxing 1 and I still haven't unlocked all the apparel yet. but it is a good game.

I still haven't unlocked all the apparel yet.

I home you have the blinds closed when playing the game…

      • LOL!

  • I was so excited about FB1 and finally got it when it was on sale, but I never ended up playing it that much. Is FB2 pretty much the same or have they improved/added lyrics/etc?

  • This or Ring Fit?
I've already tried Ring Fit which gave me decent sweat already.

    • Both are good, I got both and feel this is more for cardio and Ring fit is more for muscle building.
But Fitness Boxing is more like a training app instead of a fun game.
PS, I really hate Ring Fit has no digital ver

      • I thought of playing Ring Fit after my wirkout sessions. I hate cardio so thought this would give me the burns i needed. Sounds like I should go for this rather than the ring then in my case.

Personally, I found myself playing FB1 more as it was digital. Changing hard copies & setting up controllers/RingCon could kill my thought of working out…

      • I prefer physical copies and don’t mind setting up the ring and strap. Just want to figure out if this can give me decent sweat. Also, I have not done boxing in real life so not sure..

        • Same here. In this case, it really depends on what results do you want…

In short, I found FB1 is good for a quick cardio workout without lots of muscle pain. Just set all to the hardest level, play those combos.
Also, as you have done boxing in real life, it will be much more effective as you know where to generate power on each hit.
However, it is really annoying that a lot of times they Switch cant detect steps in/out/left/right. Sometimes it really pisses me off. I do notice in FB2 trailer you will be able to switch those moves off. I really look forward to this feature.

RingFit is good for muscle endurance. There will be lots of bodyweight moves like squats. Personally, I noticed that it give me less sweat but more muscle pain.

I would prefer jump into a 20-30 min FB workout before or after bodybuilding in rea life. Imagine doing all those bodyweight squats on your leg day…

          • @JavaTheDog: Nah. I haven't done any real life boxing but I'm always interested. I might try the demo first see if i'm interested. Didn't have that option with ring fit.

          • @JavaTheDog: I considered RFA at one point, but it looks like it's got lots of jogging on the spot, squats, etc - and I have a knee injury, so while walking is fine I need to avoid high-impact leg movements. I was fine with rower (for cardio) and leg curls and leg press (for leg muscle building) back when Gyms were a thing but those have been difficult in 2020, so my cardio has dropped right off. Am I right about RFA, or is is playable without too much leg/knee work?

        • It got a free demo and you can try it.

  • Bought the digital version of FB1 on a whim - that, RFA and Jump Rope Challenge have been keeping me fit over the winter. I really like FB1 although I'm getting sick of some of the songs, there's only something like 20 different tracks; wish there was the capability to upload your own music or buy new tracks like Just Dance. I'm going to wait till the digital version goes on sale on the eShop, it'd be annoying having to switch out the RFA card and this FB2 card on the Switch.

  • Does preordering get you access to shipment being received on release day?

    • I’m still playing FB1. But based on my experience with Amazon preorder they ship on the release day or one day before and you will be very lucky to get it over the weekend

  • Did anyone get theirs on release day? Amazon didn't send mine out until after release day.

    Also $59 at other stores
    https://www.bigw.com.au/product/fitness-boxing-2-rhythm-exer…
    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/fitness-boxing-2-rhythm-exercis…

Held off buying from those stores to get it cheaper (stack discounts/gift cards/cashback) because I thought I'd get it on release day from Amazon.
