  • I guessing they use Tuya cloud services?

    • +1

Looked around and someone on the Home Assistant forum seems to think they're not.

      • Yeah, I think they're right. Interesting.

        • Normally power plugs and light bulbs without the requirement of a Zigbee hub are Tuya.

          • @Clear: Yeah, but the hub will need some form of cloud service to report the status of the zigbee devices back to your phone.

It maybe be a lesser known service, but most importantly it compatable with Google, Amazon and Apple home.

    • Says in the description that they use ZigBee.

      • Running off a button cell, it sure ain't wifi!

The $117 is based on the individual items currently also being on sale. Would normally be around $260.

For anybody just needing some sensors for example, they are also a good deal for individual items.

  • Good deal, but wow those motion sensors and buttons sure are ugly.

I could not stand to have that ashtray/flying saucer button thing in my living room.

  • Can get just the hub and remote for $45 if anyone needs.

  • Can you add any additional ir blasters to this system (ie to use the temp sensors in multiple roo,s to control multiple aircon units?)

  • Any advice on whether they'll work with Home Assistant? Not a homekit user but want to experiment with Home assistant.
GG also sent out their concierge coupon today - along with the 10% off sitewide - its a good deal (comes to $68.10 delivered)
