You need to write the deal in relation to the Catch link/price, because "pricematch is not a deal" (can mention pricematch in the description).

Also: how are you pricematching the stainless steel (at OW) against the aluminium (catch)? They are completely different products. The description on OW website may be an incorrect cut and paste referring to aluminium - but the product is the stainless steel, and the box will say stainless steel, and for all intents and purposes (including pricematch) it is the stainless steel. They are not going to pricematch the aluminium one, just because the website accidentally says aluminium in the description (model number will be stainless steel)! (Unless you get really lucky with a really dumb staff member - if you do, nice one!)

I thought OW only price match against brick & mortar store.

    • I've seen this written here before - and it's wrong, despite what staff at OW might tell you.

Here is there Pricebeat Policy online: https://www.officeworks.com.au/information/policies/price-be…

      Specifically:

Our Price Beat Guarantee includes products you find online - as long as the item is identical and in stock. When assessing the PBG from online stores we also take into account the added cost of delivery to your location (if any). If the identical, in stock product can be purchased and delivered to your location via an online store for a total price lower than the one we are offering, we will beat that total price by 5%.

I had an OW staff member tell me they don't do online previously, so I showed them their own very straight forward policy on my phone and they said "yeah, oh, I guess…" and honoured it.

I should add in OPs case, this won't be honoured if it's a different SKU (stainless steel vs aluminium)…but that's just common sense.

  • this vs Garmin forunner 245 music?

    • not sure but the battery life on the watch active 2 is not very long on the bluetooth version, I can't imagine what's it like for the LTE version
