Good price. I initially ordered this from amazon uk too but cancelled when i realised that the plug would be different, so i ordered from ebay goodguys and got them to price match (+5% price beat) but the limit was $150. It came within a few days, i think amazon had not sent it out even after my order was placed for a week.

Just in case anyone needs it quickly and wants an AU plug! Slightly lesser cashback though.

    • Will they price match if it's technically a different item, ie. UK plug vs their AU version

      • They did for me. Dont think they are aware of the different plug hahaha

    • Goodguys has removed it from their ebay store, maybe ran out of stock?

I'll keep a eye out for this cleaner if it goes for $399ish again.

    • Thanks for the share but i realise Amazon UK comes with $188 shipping fees in this case how can TGG match your order?

      • I actually realised that too late that shipping was additional as i had prime and it had showed me free delivery, only after i purchased from ebay and requested a pricematch. But the agent had approved of the claim without including the shipping fee from UK and it went through and i got a $150 voucher. Not sure if they would have caught on now

I have this. It's fantastic on carpets. Blows the spot clean, crosswave and stain eraser out of the water for carpet stains more than 1cm in diameter….

Just used it today which I bought it back in July. From memory it was $399 someone gave me her local Goodguys invoice to price match. Great unit to use, the carpet is now half dry now. Maybe need another 24 hrs.

    • I was going to ask how long it takes to dry. Did you suck most of the liquid out or were they quite wet when you finished?
      Is 24-48 hours standard?

      • +1

From my experience it depends on the carpet and what mode you use. The deep clean mode leaves the carpet quite wet. If very dry conditions it should dry out within 24 hours. If it's humid, with little air flow, it will take considerably longer. A fan helps.

      • I have this machine, doesn't take that long for it to dry on deep clean for me, but I do try to suck up lots of the water. If I clean in the evening, it's dry by morning.

          That sounds more like it.
I've only got the little Spot Clean and find if you spend a bit more time sucking up as much water as you can then it's dry pretty quick so was hoping this would be similar for larger jobs.
          Thanks!

      • This morning was already 90% dry cannot feel any dam / wetness when touch. Used express mode. Cleaned my computer chair too, already sitting on it now.

    • whoa in product title it says dry in 30 mins…

      • That's if you use the express mode, which uses substantially less cleaning fluid. It acts much like the crosswave in that setting but with much stronger brush agitation.

    • Can you please share your invoice? I can try to use it to price match.

  • Have been eyeing off this vac for quite a few months. The price is pretty stock and has been moving very slightly (see CCC).

I wont neg the deal but I wont be loving it as it's nothing special.

Buying carpet cleaner for wife? I believe you meant to say for house. If you really care about her buy something for her not for the house. Thank me later if this tip helps 🙂

$425 with Good Guys Commercial. Seems to be their standard price (had my eye on it a while)

    • Yep, been watching it for a couple of months now on there. It has gone up slightly, think it was around the $415 mark.

  • Looks good, thank you. Something I've always wondered, are there any decent (and cheaper) alternatives to the official Bissell juice?

    • +2

I use low foaming carpet detergent from Agar https://agar.com.au/product/exit/ in my Hoover. Should be okay in Bissell. I use hot water from tap to give it a bit more oomph.

  • Did a bit of research and based on the reviews it's a pretty good carpet cleaner. Managed to get a price match at TGG. The sales told me that he can't make it any lower. Even though I'm happy about it. Thanks OP!
