  Personally, I think this totally defeats the purpose of instant photography but it's cool that you can print from your smartphone.

    Yea, it's a bit more for those who want to make sure the photo is good before devouring the ~70+ cents per instax mini film, and/or want to print a photo from phone onto an instax mini format.
