Discounted Dreamworld/White Water World Tickets

I know this has been asked before, but just thought I would seek a current answer.

Looking for tickets for Dreamworld (am I right that all Dreamworld tix include entry into White Water World), and wondering what the best price is at the moment (I will travelling from interstate and spending a week on the Gold Coast over NYE).

Currently I see RACV has them around 18-19% off.

Additionally, I will be going with a 4 year old (and a 1 year old, but it will be mainly for the 4 year old). Keeping in mind the rides he can do, I was thinking just the one day pass and do Dreamworld in the morning and WWW in the arvo - anyone gone with similar aged kids think this is a good plan? Or is it worth spending the extra $10-20 for the 3 day pass and separate them out?

Thanks in advance.

IMO separate it out. Even walking around either parks will take you that long, let along waiting in lines etc

    • Fair call. Do you know if the kiddy stuff is spread out much?

To be fair, another good reason to justify that little extra is that we can treat the animal part as an alternative to say Currumbin Sanctuary.

PS. I won't be lazy, I will check a park map to find out the answer to my question.

The kiddie stuff is mostly all in the same area.

      • Go to currumbin sanctuary just for the rainbow lorikeet feeding. Free and kids will love it.

  • Water park is crammed into 1 small ish section.

Absolutely spend the extra for 3 days. And do nothing in the middle day. With a kid you will all be tired from one day. If you try and do two parks in a day it won't work and you won't have fun. You will spend the whole day running around and clock watching instead of enjoying it. Also run the risk of the little one blowing a gasket in the afternoon and not getting any value. Been there done that.

All Dreamworld tickets do indeed include entry to WhiteWater World.

Note to access WhiteWater World from Dreamworld you do have to exit the park and re enter. The park to park gate is not currently in operation.

December 26- Mid Jan is the busiest time of the year for the park, I would suggest multiple days especially as the additional cost is minimal. 3 day tickets also include photos and the observation deck in Surfers Paradise (skypoint).

Be sure to check the ride closure page (https://www.dreamworld.com.au/park-information/ride-informat…) closer to your vistit, although for that period everything should be operational.

    • 3 day tickets also include photos

Ooh. That alone will be priceless.

Yeah, I think I'm convinced 3 days is the option to go for (with break in between).

    • Sorry, just wanted to double check with you - with the photos, does this mean we can get as many as we want digitally for no extra cost?

  • Dreamworld makes me sad after comparing it to all the amazing parks all over America on the Defunctland YouTube channel. Kids in America are spoiled, their parks make Dreamworld look like a sideshow. And that's never minding the Disney parks, any six flags alone has Dreamworld beat.

That is what kids in africa say about dreamworld. And what kids in America say about our health system. Just be grateful mate. You can’t have everything.

  • Stay at Seaworld Resort one (or more) nights. Comes with 2 days of SeaWorld/WaterWorld/MovieWorld tickets included from about $260/night, although a lot more weekends/school hols.

We paid $150 last month, but nothing will be cheaper now…

  • Which state are you travelling from? I thought QLD is still closed off to south of the border eastern states?

    • You are correct (well, I think NSW apart from hot spots in Sydney is free to enter).

I am asking this question in anticipation, hoping that come 1st Dec there will be announcement, as by that stage, it would've been over a month since we last recorded a new case.

Nothing that I could find now. I only know BUPA Plus which gets you $92.65 for adult 1 day pass ($99 is the normal price). What is the cheapest price you can find so far? Do you have entertainment book?

    • No I don't have the EB. Thanks anyway :)

  • Man, honestly would avoid dreamworld. Went couple weeks ago and boy was it disappointing. The kids section only has a tea cup ride now. White water on the other hand is solid.

I would recommend the other parks over dreamworld. A 4 year old (and a 1 year old), will likely love sea World, wet and wild, movieworld, and to a (much) lesser extent, paradise country.
