Been waiting for a while for prices to come down on this. Saw the Amazon U.K. deal and decided not to bother since not the Aus version… Even at this price seems a little expensive, but cheapest deal so far in Aus AFAIK.
Interesting, and thanks for sharing your experience. How long ago was this out of interest? One of my reasons for liking Asus is that they seem pretty responsive with firmware releases (and they keep up support of older models too).
Within the last few months
Their DSL 3100 was the worst, and significantly slower then a Telstra BYO Modem.
Their Older AC68U seemed to be the only one I had luck with.
Interesting, after firmware upgrade i did setup from scratch and not a single drop.
Actually like this product.
Just FWIW, I purchased 4 of these and had NON STOP drops between them. Random restarts, all latest firwmware.
My Samsung S20U was actually syncing only at Wifi 5 speeds, apparently Wifi 6 Samsung and this isn't quite happy…
I really wanna like ASUS Networking products, but I've had non stop issues with most of them, YMMV obviously.
