Got my headphones and powerbank today. Headphones sound is actually pretty decent though it does feel cheap but it’s a buck so can’t really complain.

Genuinely curious: what is the appeal of Christmas crackers?
For us Christmas crackers is a few things.
Tradition we have always had a few around the table/house and we feel it’s good to have some traditions passed into the kids (good ones and bad ones) The littlest kids engage with some of the oldest guests because they know the soft oldies will let them keep it even when they lose.
Decor that’s bright but gets recycled not stored post Xmas.
Lite entertainment, the jokes, toys etc.
I’ll buy reasonably cheapo nice looking ones with junk inside but I’ll carefully gut then and replace with quality small gift/toys, lindt balls, 30ml alcohol etc.
Christmas we might have 50 odd guests, good icebreaker when your suddenly alone with so and so cousin’s boyfriend etc
