Was getting sick of leaning down to use my RODE NT-USB on the standard stand in video conferences, just saw this on Amazon for cheaper than anywhere I've seen in a while, not all time low but good price for a solid boom arm. Yes I know you can get cheaper arms by Neewer etc, but this is a great price for a professional grade boom arm.

If you're a first-time Amazon App user looks like you can use coupon APPONLY10 to get a further $10 off.

Want, but a $400 mic with a $15 arm setup speaks more to the ozbargainer in me.

    • the true ozbargainer rocks a $20 neewer mic with a $10 neewer boom arm.

the true ozbargainer has no material possessions.

Leaning to use the mic makes you look like an old fashioned DJ. It could be your signature move, they probably all compliment you behind your back when you disconnect from Zoom, thinking you're taking it all so seriously.

  • Good product but price is not I would say a bargain. I bought this from Digidirect for $110 few months back.

  • Keep in mind that lighter mics (<700g including shock mount) won't work well with this, and will require a weight.

This is the standard price on Amazon for this at present, looking to see if this drops for Black Friday.

I've heard you can adjust the screw in the head joint for lighter mics

    • This correct, even my Blue Yeti struggles to stay in place sometimes.

  • It's been this price for months…

    • Yup, it's been on my watchlist for ages and hasn't dropped below $126.

  • I wouldn't touch anything without at least a psa 8.5 grade /s

amazing arm, highly recommend. Much longer than the cheaper variants

  • Spend the extra and get the Compass Boom Arm https://www.mightyape.com.au/product/blue-microphones-compas…
Much better and has nice cable management…. I have 3 and they support a range of shock mounts and Mics quite nicely

    • Have you used both of them?

    • Big caveat is the compass boom arm is designed for the mic to be upside down, it's a favourite for Blue Yeti users but will be tricky with any other mic.
