Good stuff I actually liked the game. This is like entry level persona.
Strongest suit of this game is it's gameplay/combat, pulling off chaining combos, while utilising weakness exploitation (from both Fire Emblem and the Shin Megami Tensei/Persona series, but if you're not familiar with either of them, then just think of a twist on Pokemon battles where using a super effective move leads to combo attacks). Story and characters are on the light side though (though there are a number of Fire Emblem character cameos which start from the very get go), and it does involve Japanese idol culture which may not appeal to some people.
Gameplay is definitely the selling point I think.
I kind of enjoyed the fact the story was so light though.
Maybe it was just the mood I was in. But I knocked out the game really quickly over two weeks because I didn't have to think very much about the story and could just focus on the gameplay and dungeons.

Great game. Can recommend. Full blown turned based JRPG for Switch and Wii u. Being a fan i dubbed it Persona 4.5 because it came out before Persona 5. (same company)
