My first post. I hope I format this correctly.

This is the third game of the Trails of Cold Steel quadrilogy that contains an overbranching storyline but it's still is a great place to start for any newcomers.

  Amazon price matched the switch version. Better alternative if your local EB is out of stock.

  Here I am trying to smash out the Trails in the Sky series before I start CS4.

  Probably the best world building I've experienced in a video game, thoroughly recommend.

    Definitely worth playing Sky before Cold Steel!

    I'll be waiting until next year myself, because of the delayed PC release.

      Yeah I'm kicking myself that I didn't play through the sky series first! But man they did a stellar job with the Cold Steel series, played through the 3 games and didn't feel like I missed all too much!

        Yeah, thankfully they tend to recap anything important. Which is helpful for such a long series!

        Have you also played the Crossbell games?

        I did Sky > Crossbell > Cold Steel, which is probably optimal, but I don't think you miss too much doing it the other way around.

            @zekamashi: They're not, but there's an excellent fan translation for Zero and a good one for Azure.
