[eBook] Free: "Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: The Ultimate Beginners Guide" $0 @ Amazon AU, US

Getting started in Brazilian jiu jitsu can be daunting.
But training martial arts is one of the most beneficial things I've ever done, mentally and physically, but getting over the beginner's hump was where a chunk of those benefits come from.

Will I be a black belt once I finished reading this book?

I purchased for free in US link and got this message for a $10 Amazon voucher.
"Congratulations! You have unlocked $10 coupon for your second purchase in the Amazon App"
Apparently will be automatically added to next purchase. Didn't know free purchases attracted these. A side benefit. Thanks OP 👍

  • Bought for free 17/03/19

I'll probably start going to the gym tomorrow….

  • do yourself a favour and go to a BJJ gym/school.
You can't learn a martial art from a book.

    • That's very true, however personally I've read many books to go along with the actual training, and it's definitely worth having the extra material if you are passionate / committed, not so much if it's just a side hobby of course where you could get bored (talking in general, no idea about this particular book however).

  • "The Ultimate Beginners Guide" by a guy I've never heard of in my 12 years of training and only hits I get on Google are plugs for the book… Price is right at least

    • Well I guess if the basics are right, they are right - People aren't going to be expecting Black belt status from this, so could still be ok =)
