I wouldn't pick a Clark's Desert Boot either, but if you're already over $200 then might as well stretch it to a Goodyear welted, Dainite rubber soled chukka from the UK.
Keep you're eye out for sales at online sites like Herring Shoes and Pediwear and likely to get something of much better quality for $50-80 more, that will last a whole lot longer and be able to be resoled many times.
Herring often have their own in house brand models that are very good value, often made for them OEM by very well known brands.
Own several RMWs, and a few chukkas from UK makers, so just don't see the bang for buck/quality ratio for this model, even with the discount.

I like good quality suede shoes, but looks like a pricey RMW premium without the things that usually make it worth paying extra for this brand i.e. crepe sole, not made locally and very likely not Goodyear welted.
