Target (USA) have a good deal on 3 month Game Pass Ultimate (digital code).
I paid with my Citibank debit card. $US19.99 worked out at $27.89 (a little over $9 a month AUD).
I bought the first one using a VPN (as a test), and the second one without VPN (but haven't activate yet).
Successfully activated the code on my PC account.

It says it take 4 hours to receive, but for me it was closer to 12 hours. I imagine they have a lot of orders to process.
Anyway, I thought it was a pretty good deal for those wanting to top up their XBOX subscriptions.

There is talk on other forums that if you turn off recurring billing before activating your code, Microsoft will offer you a month for free. But that didn't come up for me.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2020

  • Do they have an expiry of when you need to activate by? Im currently subbed for 3 years on the dot, but this is a great price.

    • Sorry, can't see any information on my purchase.
But they are standard Xbox digital cards, so I imagine the expiry is pretty standard (if you can search further afield on the web).

  • Seeing as Game Pass Ultimate is console wide (aside from access to the bonus points challenges), you can alternatively create new accounts to take advantage of the $1, 1-month trial, and access both the included games and multiplayer.

  • Just wondering what you did for creating an account ? Thanks

I used fake US postal address. Heaps of websites that will generate one for you.
Then when I order, I said to progress without a verified shipping address.

      • Did you have any issues activating ? I sent a few to a mate and they said for use in the US only however it worked on my account

  • I have placed 5 different orders and they've all been cancelled :( I truly don't know what to do at that stage

    • What method of payment did you attempt to use?

      • Debit card (Visa ING), credit card (Visa ING), AMEX

        • I tried to order 2 cards again, and had the same experience.
Then two hours later I got one card (not two).
Weird. Maybe you can only order one at a time.
Did you try to order more than 1?

          • @avan1976: I did all possible scenarios, 1 month, 3 months, with or without VPN… Dont know what to do. Maybe I can buy the codes from you haha

            • @mathieualexandre: I have 4 codes , they aren’t letting me add to my account due to region , I’m guessing VPN would fix ?

          • @avan1976: And I just tried again to buy one and my order was immediately canceled lol

  • Is this cheaper than getting Xbox Gold Live at full price for 3 years and applying the $1 upgrade from that to game pass ultimate?

  • Anyone know if they will stack as in buy 4 and apply them all to get a year?

FYI I ordered 2 of the 3-month codes. Paid via Paypal through my 28 Degrees card.
I used a US VPN exit to redeem www.microsoft.com/redeem, but not sure I needed to tbh. I didn't use a VPN to purchase from Target.

I also turned off recurring billing the day before I redeemed, and I did get the offer to get an extra month…both times :)

So effectively got 8 months for $54. Not the absolutely cheapest it's been, (I used the Brazil Gold extension originally), but still very happy with that. Thanks OP!

    • I even bought a prepaid card at my local post office and still - my orders are cancelled.
What physical address did you use?

      • Somewhere in Alaska 😁

Alright - I give up. I created 5 different accounts, used 7 different cards, excluding PayPal, tried many different VPN locations. I have no idea why my orders are being canceled straight away. I guess I will have to wait until a similar deal pops up in Australia.
