People that want a sports band with different functions, or a battery that lasts more then 12 hours.

Apple watches have an average battery life of 18 hours AND they have more functions than Fitbits.

Fitbit have a 6 day battery life, if Apple could get 2-3 days I would be tempted. One of the main function drawcards is sleep tracking and analysis. Hard to track when you need to charge nightly. I still see the two products meeting different use cases - Apple is a smart watch, Fitbit is a Sports watch.

I think it’s a fair question. I have used Fitbit watches but was really considering switching over to Apple Watch when the models came out this year.

Ultimately I didn’t want to leave the Fitbit platform because my several years of data is too difficult to move away from Fitbit.

The hardware build quality has improved over the years, but their software always feels like it never left beta testing.

This is a fair, rational response to my direct, but honest question. Appreciate this kizzaaa.

I was once a Fitbit Charge 2 and a Fitbit Ionic user until I switched to the Apple watch. You're definitely correct in the software aspect - really hard to keep up with iOS or Android-based smart watches.

But I have to admit the one thing I miss about the Fitbit is their sleep-tracking function, which Apple still lacks and doesn't seem to be too keen on improving.

  • Gonna post similar here to the other onsport posts - I would be very wary purchasing from on sport - especially for Christmas. Highly doubt you'll even hear from them before the 25th, let alone receive your item. Check out the recent reviews on here (including my own) - https://au.trustpilot.com/review/www.onsport.com.au
