  I bought a bag from Vancl on madeinchina.com earlier in the year, the quality was better than I expected and the shipping was pretty quick considering it was coming from overseas (the "EMS" shipping was really some shipping company I'd never heard of to Australia, and then Aus Post eParcel within the country. Dunno if that's still the case.)

  Only downside is that they're Chinese sizes so you may not be able to get your size (e.g. the men's shoes only go as far as 10.5.)

  I have to say that I am impressed quality is very good (I personally recommend the v-tees/vancl tee-shirts very nice and a good fit (I am a small and got a medium which fits well) shipping took 10 days give or take)

  I have an experience that I want to share from my earlier post of this offer (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/57412).

  As per Max's comment, it is important to ensure you are very happy with the style as well as the size. Accessories are generally safe (a belt is a belt) but pay particular attention to more complicated garments like blazers/jackets/dresses/pants.

  I found my orders to be the right size, they were much different in fabric and shape than I expected - one blazer looked and felt like it was a track suit complete with a shocking elastic collar, the other was so thin I could see through it. It also had strange frills on the shoulders. Both didn't really hold their shape. The trousers I ordered had very shallow pockets and were also thin. It is very hard to understand these characteristics from models on the website.

  My estimation is that you get what you pay for - and the quality represents the price. A $20 shipped jacket is just that, not a '$60+ quality' jacket reduced. These products are designed to appeal to the tastes and budgets of mainland Chinese shopper. I.e this type of lightweight product is more akin to Paddy's market, and not in the same league as some of the better Asian brands like Giordano or UNIQLO. This is of course a matter of expectation and taste, and I'm willing to be stood corrected if someone disagrees.

  The only reason this is an issue is because returns are so damn expensive from Australia. I decided I would not wear any of my ordered clothes ($56 after the $35 discount) and so I wanted to return them all. The cheapest method to return them (1.8kgs) to Beijing is $42!!! So I'm basically stuck with it. Such a shame, because I'd be willing to try again (if it was cheaper to return ship) but I'm not confident the same thing wouldn't happen again. An ASOS style return shipping policy via an Australian address would be so much better.

  I tried to post negative purchase feedback (to balance the 5 star ratings) on the VANCL product pages to inform other buyers but it appears only positive feedback (much of it in Russian) gets published. I am still waiting for my comments to appear.

  On a more positive note - shipping was super fast! Arrived in only 5 days.

  Anyway, that's my lost $56 worth of experience.

(Actually we are placing more orders to the factory than Uniqulo this year). After 10years in garment industry I assure you our products definitely worth more than the price in general. By very few chance you would find same quality

But still, personally I'm so disagree with the " A $20 shipped jacket is just that, not a '$60+ quality' jacket reduced" comment.You know those $60+ in some cases may be made out of $20-(I'm not talking about the exact amount, just the idea). All those Russian and English comments you read were from real customers, and we did not make them up or hide any of them.(try google translate)

  Our principle is to supply the best worth of products(apparel, shoes, bag, etc) with lowest price and generally acceptable quality so that every body can be happy. Hope you can have the confidence in us for another purchase on any of the above mentioned items.And I personally assure you if you are still not satisfied we will fully refund with what you spend on your next purchase. Believe or not, we are not counting on any profit for the oversea sales considering all these $25 out of $79 purchase promotion and almost weekly $10cash card. We are just trying to build up the impression.

  purchased few items, good customer service they always respond, though sometimes slow.

  price: super~super~super~, promotions are crazy.

  quality: good for the price, sth worth more than your money, others o.k. for the money, in general: good for your money. recommend shirts, sweaters, bags and shoes. for the price, puffers are also fine.

  delivery: only postal air mail is free, takes about 15days to arrive.
