Reading some reviews, sounds like the Cam software is a pain in the ass and the fans are pretty loud? Aesthetics aside, is this really worth it or would I be better off with regular air cooling?
It depends. Mine CAM software works fine and smooth so far. Fans are loud if you tune to 1500 RPM and above.
Again, you can always swap fans to Noctua for premium quality and low dB :)
Spend $40 less and grab a DH-15. Practically silent and it can't ever fail and squirt water into your PC.
I'm on the fence between this AIO or a noctua fan.
Is the d-15 the best one to get? What about the u12s or other noctua models?
DH-15 is the best for performance. IMO the only reason to consider a u12s is for motherboard compatibility and/or case height restrictions.

Anyone considering swapping out the fans for RGB fans? I'm looking at potentially putting in the Coolermaster MF140R, but not sure whether it would have impact on cooling. The Kraken x63 rgb appears to be using their AER RGB 2 which has similar specs to the MF140R.

Wow one week delivery from UK. That reminds me the good ol days when an order from amazon.com (before amazon.com.au) would arrive within a 1 week windows. These days delivery from amazon US takes about 1 month to arrive.
