    it's a shopping square special

  • You can still get the new model (post previously) for around $98 shipped from amazon http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005KOZNBW
New model has built in wifi and is faster

    • Better remote too

    • But no wdlxtv

    • Maybe a stupid question, but any difference between amazon one and Australian stock? Aside from the different power cords?

    • I had the new streaming model for a couple of day and I was totally disappointed how it kept jamming up when scanning my 4TB worth of movies and series. Remote was nice, but the Media Library was pretty much non-existent in my case. Also it was unable to properly switch it's output frequency based on the video fps. So 24fps videos were playing back at 50fps and looking totally unnaturally "videoy". Just wondering if this older (with WDLXTV probably) model would be able to do any better?
