  • come on, price has come down. if you post this up like 1 - 2 months back then it is a bargain. nowadays it is hardly bargain as every market i went to sell the banana for 1 - 2 dollar a kilo. I think the mighty banana has enough support already this past weeks or so to become the next prime minister so it is time for a change.

    • well it's a bargain compared to shopping at woolworths :)

    • I agree, enough of the banana specials please.

It would be also nice to mention in the title that Harris Farms is only NSW which makes this an NSW only deal.

If you do not know what is Harris Farm the this deal does not apply to you simple as that.

        • How do I know that they haven't expanded interstate (or what states they are currently in)? So how about including location specific deals in the title. It's bad enough that you posted another banana offer.

    • Same as the 101 deals posted for iTunes $30 for $40 deal.

  • +1

i got some from aldi for 80c/kg yesterday.. but they were marked down and had nearly taken on the form of 'banana cake'.

  • thank you jdr for state-ing the Deal. very tedious deals without mentioning State -its like people think everything's the same price across Australia - what can you say when evryday prices vary across a State?

  • I was just in Harris Farms at Bondi Junction and I bought some that were $2.49 a kilo - I didn't see any for 99 cents.

    • Geographic discrimination? Bondi customers will pay more?

  • hmm nice and green, so by they will be black before they are even edible, mmmm

    • I think I can see one in the picture that is mostly yellow :-) But they are in NSW so doesn't matter to me (but I had to check where HFs are because the title doesn't disclose this limitation unless you already know about HF)

  • enough banana bargains. thier price is back to normal now, its the way it was before the floods.

  • Just checked Broadway and they are $2.49 as another poster posted.

Which shop are the 99 cents able to be purchased at? Otherwise post is misleading.

  • Certainly not this price at Harris Farm Cammeray. They were $2.99/kg there. Title needs location. Probably a manager special.

  • Was At Harris Farm, Bondi Junction today. They sell at $2.49
Where did ca6leguy get 99 c from is a bit of a mystery.

  • Ill asume Harris Farm is not selling Bananas for 99 cents, the OP poss off topic posts and replies in this thread, but does not provide further details, and its a very misleading post as it assumes all stores sell for 99 cents, which is not the case.

    • Seems to be the case. Quite an unfortunate post in multiple respects.

  • It appears to me that fair banana prices at the moment should be around that $1 - $2/kg mark anyway. Woolies/Coles are dropping the prices gradually currently at $3- $4/kg mark still making huge profits. Customer's compare the current prices to what the prices were before and think its a GREAT price. Good on you HFs for offering a fair price!

  • They are not .99 at my local Harris Farm (Dee Why)
