  • I gave you a +1 but think this deal is better:

    • I'll see your 'Energizer Max Plus' and raise you this deal…

You win :) 33c per battery from a trusted brand is excellent value.

Varta are good but I prefer Energizer (or Duracell) who repair or replace items damaged by their batteries if they leak.

The Bunnings AA packs I go for are:

Is the Varta Longlife batteries. It's made for lower drain devices such as a remote control which is the reason why it's got a remote control symbol on the front of the package. Which is the reason it's so cheap. It wouldn't last as long for example in a game controller pad since those are higher drain devices.

However if i'm not getting Energizer Max batteries, i prefer the Varta High Energy batteries from Officeworks howbeit it costs a little more but is worth it. Much better batteries which are made for high drain devices. For example is much better for your Xbox One or Series X controller. https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/varta-high…

Thanks. I had no idea about those…

@jv: Yeah i didn't know about it myself until i saw it on the Officeworks online store some time ago. It seems to work great in my Xbox One controllers.

            • @hollykryten: I used the Varta long life from burnings in my xbox one wireless controller. It went through whole mafia definitive edition and a third of ACO. So overall it lasted at least 20 hours play time. I think it's pretty good. How much time I get from the energizers

              • @nico8amy: You would probably get even longer play time with the High Energy battery range.

                • @hollykryten: But it's so damn cheap. How many hours u get from the energizers?

    Disclaimer
Coles online aims to include in the product list up to date pictures of the products and accurate ingredients, nutritional information, country of origin and other information.

Where is the 'nutritional information' ?

    • Yeah don't worry about that. It's a placeholder for all their products.

    • Low in sugar and fat, but still high energy.

  • Or these are better value: https://www.bunnings.com.au/duracell-aa-coppertop-batteries-…
I think I saw these on clearance for approx $13 which would be even better.

    • But the Duracell Ultra claims lasts up to 100% longer and those normal Duracell claims only up to 50% longer.

      • longer than what?

  • More like Duraleak.
