It's cheap, but why would someone buy a low refresh rate TN panel?

    • +5

      For work purposes.

That being said this monitor looks hekkin old. Did they go backward or is this an old monitor?

So your boss can't see you browsing OzBargain at work.

I actually bought a third monitor which I could put at a fairly extreme angle so only I can see it and I use it for OzBargain purposes primarily haha

    • no backlight bleed.

  • +6

It doesn't have a VESA mount hole, something to keep in mind.

Thanks I was about to pull the trigger but I need to mount this on an monitor arm.

  • Cheap Cheap Cheap - even better with cash back

I don't really think this is worthwhile. Looks like a really dim TN panel. Better off going on scumtree/fb and finding a decent 2nd hand monitor.

    • I agree even Acer EK241Y is better than this… And I rather pay $30 dollars more for 75Hz panel with slim bezal.

tbh id just fork out an extra 40 and get

    • +3

may be less than 40 as it includes shipping.

    • 65 day delivery timeframe

    • Thankyou. I checked out the one you linked & compared them to the deal, I liked that one better also, decided to get it instead, but the version with built-in speakers. $155 total, delivered. Very happy, because it has 75Hz, IPS panel; uses less power; built-in speakers; VESA mount.

  • dem bezels

  • Would be good for the Switch (1080p, 60hz).

    TN? Thanks, No.

  • You could spend an extra $20-$30 and get something like this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/575906
    IPS>TN
    75Hz>60Hz
    Slim bezels>Big bezels

  • Product specifications on page incorrectly state this is a 75Hz panel.

    TN gets so much hate…

    Im loving my one.

Damn,, paid $186 for this 6 years ago

  • Once I thought I could comfortably stay with 1080P 60Hz forever. Now reading this I'm like "Jesus what can I do with 60Hz"😂

  • Well there are lots of choices on 24" panel, 75Hz is getting more popular… Acer AOC LG Viewsonic… Already offering IPS 75Hz between 129 - 149 inc… why would I pay 99 dollars for a vintage products that I can throw into the garbage anytime.
