I think their point is the savings aren't worth the eBay Plus cost, so it isn't really a cost saving membership.

More importantly, this one is really heavy on the hops compared to stone and wood or Wild yak. It tastes more like an IPA than a Pacific ale.

Not even close IMO. Best mid strength beer by a macro brewer, maybe. However, I can think of 10 mid strength beers that are better, only thinking about ones done in WA. Countless more on the other side of the country,

Can someone give me recommendations for the strongest, nicest, cheapest beer please? A good value for money drink that will get me nice and tipsy but doesn't taste horrible? I was a big fan of the 4 Pines Pacific Ale
Most big name brewers only produce bulk beers up to about 5%. Plenty of smaller brewers make 8+% beers, but they aren't cheap.
It's not beer but mercury hard cider is cheap and 8.5%.
Try Coopers Red (sparkling ale)
5.8%, 1.7 standards per bottle.
Grab a long neck to introduce yourself.
I don't think you'll find something that meets all your criteria but this would be in the mix.
