So you can noise pollute while you cycle along. Sigh.

  • Why is it called Wind, do you have to wind it up.

    • no it is wind powered while you cycle along.

Nah, mate! It is powered by a built in lithium-ion battery. 🤓

  • Somewhat unrelated, but… Just received the highly rated Oontz Angle 3 Plus I got from Amazon also for $30, and am pretty underwhelmed. I bought it to replace a Kmart one I paid $30, (I think) that lasted me 3.5 years, and remember it having much bigger sound (not louder per se; bigger). It was bigger and heavier too (so that might be it). Might return the Oontz and get another Kmart one.

    • Cheers, might get a Kmart one for my computer desk!

      • For the desk, the Oontz may be ok. I wanted it for living room and patio music, based out of my experience with the Kmart one. I don't think it measures up; it's puny.

I don't see the one I had on sale anymore on Kmart's site. Might get this one instead. Or that, for stereo.

This argument comes up all the time in cycling groups. Some people like it because they can listen to their tunes without earplugs, others hate it because the keenest users like to blast out their music assuming that they are somehow bringing the ministry of good music to the ignorant masses. Somehow the great unwashed will hear their sick beats and forever be transformed through the ministry of being exposed to good music ….. that's the theory. In reality these are also often the same type of people who like to listen to music that most average people liken to the sound of 2 cats F&^%$in in a sack!

    • Yeah that pretty much sums it up tbh.

    • ah, those would be the cycling equivalent of the fart can stance bros that plague the car enthusiast scene

  • Also looks heavy and not aero!

Any idea how many grams? I've got about 300g spare to ballast to meet UCI minimum
