I saw this Camera at CameraPro in Brisbane for $448.
Cheapest I have found anywhere, as most places that have it are $550.
I have the S90 and love it, so hopefully this new one lives up to it.
Sample I have seen so far is inferior to the s95 and I am half minded about this camera.

This. Certainly not worth $200 premium over the S95.
If anything the price drops in the S95 as a result of this camera are making the S95 a bargain.

Thismorning, Teds Cameras (eastern states) also had stock; though at $550, and with no luck price-matching them, you'd have to be pretty desperate to go there.

How does this hold up with the Olympus XZ-1 (Which is about $365 brand new from ebay.. havent search anywhere else yet)
Used the Olympus a fair bit, it's bigger than the S100. I wasn't too fussed with the IQ, and I think you will find for a mainstream market, colours, contrast and brightness will be more appealing in the Canon.
Also note, while not in the same price bracket and size category, Fujifilm X10 will destroy both of these.
