OzBargain 2020 - anything you found amusing, different from other years, 'unprecedented' that's worth remembering?!

2020 has been such a strange year, one we won't forget for several years to come. I was just thinking about how it impacted OzBargain…a few of my memories…

  • The rise and rise of the toilet paper and sanitisers before they all came crashing down!
  • Masks…oh boy, didn't they sell for even $1 a piece? And more recently, probably $5 for 100?!
  • Anything that had the word 'anti-bacterial' in it, be it soap, detergent, wipes - gone within seconds!
  • Hardly any IWTF posts!
  • And one I miss the most - "Can I claim TRS on this?!" ;-)

    Proliferation of "in-stock" posts - Nintendo Switch, PS5, XBX/S, GPU's, Toilet Paper, Masks, etc etc. Got a few negs, but still front-paged

    The sheer number of comments saying "shame I can't get this in Melbourne" and posts asking whether buying a car/jetski/eneloops is considered essential travel.
