I know you were “trying” to make a joke, but no need to down vote the deal.

      • -6

no need to down vote the deal

why is that of concern ?

      • +3

I don't think he appreciates my new avatar. A whole set was created yesterday in another post.

        • -8

I gave my reason, as per the voting rules…

@jv: No, you were trying to be clever and all the negative votes to you comment should make you realise it was not as clever as you thought…

            • -2

              @Savitar:

you were trying to be clever

not really. I just call it as i see it.

all the negative votes to you comment should make you realise it was not as clever

why would I care about -ve votes?

              • +1

@jv: Oh, a loner, a rebel. No care factor for the votes, just out there, patrolling the internet to be justice warrior in the pursuit of grammar correctness.

                Can I be your friend?

                • @Savitar:

                  Oh, a loner, a rebel.

                  lol

No care factor for the votes

Why care over votes? unless perhaps you have some insecurities…

                  • +3

@jv: Oh the irony, the person who down votes a deal, tried to to make a joke, took time out of their busy (lol) day then responds to every comment.

It would seem someone likes attention, otherwise they would have moved on without trying to get attention

                    Seems like projecting to me…

                    But please, do go on!!

You have the day off today, huh?

                      • @jv: Because it’s easy….

That took me way too many braincells to work out but I finally did and I would like a refund on my braincells

      • I take my hat Cap off to you!

  • How long does it take on average to get your cash back on this Cashrewards thing? Never done it before, thinking of trying.

I remember trying a cash back thing years ago and it was such a big hassle :(

    • +4

Usually a 2-3 months….Way I see it is I'm going to buy it regardless so doesn't cost me anything to access it via one or two more clicks. Then I forget about it and check the balance every couple of months and there's usually a nice little surprise to withdraw.
I don't fully track them unless it's large amounts

  • Does CR allow for team member discounts too?

    • Yes

  • the referal link takes me to cash rewards - are the links working properly?

edit: my bad. Thought the referal link was for liquorland

    • Liquorland does not have a ref. program

  • Any other stackable/ working codes? Like firstchoice had?

    • None listed at CR sadly.

  • This store reports sales ex GST. Cashback is calculated on reported value.

So to claim max $25 cashback must not exceed $125 pre GST or $137.5 inc GST?

    • Cashback is usually calculated on ex-GST price

      • +3

it appears to be the case.

Accidentally got carried away and overspent $131.82 ex GST.

The true ozbargainer in me is dissapointed.

    • Do you mean there is no need to spend more than $137.50 to earn $25 cashback? Just asking to find out there is no upper limit on spend but you will only earn max $25 discount regardless of how much over you have spent?

  • +1

Coffee patron is back for $65, so tempting

  • If I want to buy something over $80 is it better to purchase here or Dan murphys?

    • Just compare prices between the two for what you want to buy.

e.g. Glenlivet 12 is $65 at LL and $62 at Dan's. After 20% (pre-GST) discount at LL it will be $53.18

Generally LL (and BWS) will be more expensive but with the 20% saving, some things will cheaper or much cheaper.

      • Dan has 15% shop back now I think so consider that too

        • +1

And you can use e-gift cards as payment (double check, but pretty sure). Gets closer or better than 20%

    • +1

4% cashback at Dans vs 20% here, so would need to be way cheaper at Dans to be better off (in 3 months when actually get cashback)

      • Dans had 15% cashback today…

      • 15% cashback on Dans + 5% off using a gift card

  • talisker 10 is listed as $85, so $68 after CB - bargain, fantastic drop

    • This store reports sales ex GST. Cashback is calculated on reported value.

  • Why doesn’t Cashrewards have anything for eBay now?

  • doesnt work in-store, i got tracked for 50c for $50 :(

    • In store is only 1% as it says on Cashrewards

  • 2 bottles Roku Gin $110. Already discounted by $12. Triggers free delivery for over $100. Close to maximum cashback $22.

    $44 each and delivered 👍
