I stopped shopping at Dan's since they refused to price match 1st choice liquor…

      • So you decide if the price 1st Choice advertise is valid?

  • Red Knot shiraz is a nice drop for $10

  • Im a junior in posting rules but Is this just an advertisement?

Its a list of great deals, so what if it is in the form of an advert, it's fine.

      • Fair enough

Dan Murphys been very dissapointing lately been finding much better prices at 1st choice and liquorland. I went into DM to buy some jim beam but it was $33 compared to $27 at 1st choice..

I cant be bothered pricematching, i go where its cheapest.

  • thanks for the post, hopefully it'll be regular.

I must say in Dan's defense, the recent had Three Kings Cider for $30,
I was at First Choice the other day & it was $52 there. Both in the past few weeks have bumped up their prices (again their usual $40 range of Mercury & Strongbow ciders have suddenly increased to $45+), not doubt
so they can have them "on sale" again from Chrissy, same with spirits (e.g. Bundy has gone from $29/30 -> $34)

  • Yes I noticed the jump with Mercury ciders as well. Had been buying them for about $39 a case and now $45..

The Three Kings I have not tried but for $30 would be willing to taste it. I noticed a new 'Maxx' cider stocked at 1st Choice lastnight it looked interesting but did not buy it.
