  Their description should be clearer; what you are getting is 1 yr subscription of the Economist (51 issues) & 9 months of Time (39 issues), combined cost is normally $340.

  That's a saving of $90. A very good deal indeed!

  I would think that most smart students (especially economy students) would look to free online sources for financial and global News. Of course, you can be smart and have mum and dad pay for everything as well…

      Also if you are considering the digital edition, Make sure you selet your coountry as the United states which I suspect Thrawn has done. They want $189.99AUD if you select Australia but only $110 USD if you select the USA.

  hmm.. The Economist was $230 two days ago when they announced the xmas sale.
