    Wow they'll give you a 64Gb MicroSD instead of a 32Gb card…

MicroSD's are OzB currency. This is hardly a deal. I can't imagine how quickly a 2ch will fill up these cards, should really be using 128's in these.

Better off showing your Auto card and getting 30% off here.

    • Only coming up 5% off when I tried?

    • This is an amazing bargain if it was 30% but its only coming up as 5% for me too .. so the price is 597.55

Don’t see why it wouldn’t. It’s not in the exclusions categories :/.

    • How many hours would the 32gb hold? Im thinking around 2-3 before recording over it?

If I wanted to get one of these installed where should i go?

    • I got mine installed from Autobarn.

In Sydney, Bendas sounds like the go-to for installation.

If you are in another state/area, have a browse through here to see if you can find something closer to home.

go to a local auto electrician. They'll be cheaper than autobarn and the like.

  • I did not know that Dashcams are around $600?

highly recommend Blackview. used my 650 for 5 years without any problem.

Mine was installed by an auto electrician for like $120 -150.

Blackvue were way ahead of their competitors many years ago but the gap has been bridge now. Highly recommend the Vivfo A129 Duo, there has been deals on Ozbargain for under quarter of the price of this one for the same front/rear resolution.

      Apples and Oranges.

This particular model Blackvue has 4G capability (upload to the cloud) and built in smart hard wiring (time and voltage turn offs).

I am also yet to see a cheap dashcam do parking mode as well as Blackvue (I'd say the Thinkware and other premium ones would be onpar) - it prebuffers, and records a couple seconds before the motion sensor detects any Gs so it records your car getting hit while parked, not just the other people driving off.

When my Blackvue DR400 broke (after 7 years), I tried the A119a and Blueskysea B1W before realising they either didn't even have parking mode (A119) or needed you to press a button (B1W), so ended up with a base model DR590. It even tells you that motion was detected whilst in parking mode after you come back and start moving again!

      P.s i didnt neg you

      • Wow didn't know Blackvue had 4G capability. That is impressive.

The previous generations (DR650 and ordinary 750) had wifi, so you could connect it to a wifi modem. The 750X has built in 4G.

Blackvue Cloud (the point of the internet connectivity) also sends push notifications when an "event" occurs during parking mode, and lets you log in and look at footage live (also a GPS tracking device as long as it hasn't been unplugged…)

  • Can anyone recommend something a couple hundred cheaper?

    • I've been using the 70mai A800 since the indigogo campaign and it's been great for me. The night time footage isn't as good as the day time one but for $200 I'd say it's worth the money.

  • Telco are showing a 20% + 30% off this weekend. Dashcams don’t say excluded so not sure if they are or not?? Oil shows 30% off, but dashcam still 5%.

    • Yep - online 5%, instore - 30% (depend on Repco store vs Repco store)

Got the last one from Bankstown / NSW for $440.03 today.

  • Went to the store this morning and get the last one with the 30% offf, salesperson said that its been very popular especially with the auto membership. Very low stocks as its been popular
