  • Just to be clear, if you achieve $50 spend on the 'Special bonus Buys" item, you will also get the 2,000 off $50?

    If so you can potentially get 4,000 off a $50 spend = 40% return

    The T&C for the bonus offer says: "Not in conjunction with any other offer." as above. That implies you won't get both sets of points to me.

      🤔 Good pickup from the Terms & Conditions. However:

      1. Never trust First Choice Liquor T&Cs. They regularly copypaste them and don't fix all the differences.
      2. In the past, all the bonus flybuys offers have stacked.
      3. The landing page for the deal states it's an additional 1000/2000/3000 points:

      FLYBUYS BONUS POINTS

      Collect 2,000 flybuys BONUS POINTS when you spend $50 online

      And collect additional BONUS POINTS when you spend on selected drinks below

      1,000 BONUS POINTS 2,000 BONUS POINTS 3,000 BONUS POINTS
      when you spend $30 when you spend $50 when you spend $100

      Given all that, I would say that you will get the 4000 bonus points.

      You can easily check this, once you complete an order, as the online receipt page now shows the amount of bonus points earned in a banner at the bottom. (You can always cancel the order if the bonus points don't stack.)

        • Or you could give Customer Support a ring to get the extra points added manually if they aren't done so automatically. I might give them a ring to confirm the case, but I'm tired of dealing with CS for now. (Had a bit of an ordeal with BWS's today.)

          • @robinCTS: I just checked and none of the (many!) orders in my account list any Flybuys at all, bonus or otherwise.

            • @gadgetguy: The banner only shows up on the "Order Confirmation" page that appears once you've paid for the order. I've seen the banner for both Liquorland and First Choice Liquor orders I've placed. (I have screenshots.)

              Once you close that page, it's gone for good—it doesn't show up in the emails or on the orders in your account. The only other place you will see the bonus flybuys listed is in your flybuys account, once they are credited.

                I've taken a screenshot and set a reminder to check my FB account. I'm pretty confident from what you posted though.

                  It's weird that your confirmation screen doesn't show something similar.

                  EDIT: Maybe something to do with the fact that I order and pay as a guest and, I presume, you do so whilst logged in?

                    All my back orders are in my account but no sign of Flybuys.

                  • @robinCTS: You are right. I never noticed it before. The flybuys points earned are shown there, but on my order it shows only the 2000 from the $50 spend, not the extra 2000 from the $50 spend from selected products. The 2 offers should stack as specified in the email.
                    I wonder if they will just honour it or if everyone will have to ring them to get the extra points.

      😂 It's a comedy of errors, there.

      The online Terms & Conditions have now been updated, and I've received the email which has the correct date in its T&Cs.

      If fixed the deal. All that's left now that's wrong is the "Not in conjunction with any other offer."

  • I placed an order Saturday night for C&C but apparently not found anywhere in their system and still no update from CS today. Anyone else got hit by the same issue? Was told be CS there are some technical difficulties which means systems going down ..

    • I had something similar happen a week ago.

      C&C order which they couldn't find anywhere. They next day (when I rang—don't hold your breath for them to ring you back) it appeared in their system and all was good.

    • Somehow I think that the T&C " Not in conjunction with any other offer" for spend from selected products may mean that they will only give 2000 points and not 4000.

        • Yes I know. Just wondering if anyone had already rung Flybuys to check and if it there is an official reply. The offers should stack but my order that qualified for 2000 + 2000 points only showed 2000 points on the confirmation screen.

          • @Mad Max: I got 2000 credited today. I'll definitely be following up but the T&C say they have up to 4 weeks to add them so we'll probably get fobbed off if we call now.
