Was looking for a decent price for this as a Santa surprise for the kid. It is being sold almost everywhere else at $169-199 but $119 by Target online exclusive offer.

Target Newsletter signing up promotion for $10 bucks brings this further down to $109. Free click and collect or 3-7 days AusPost home delivery. XMas gift for one sorted.

a Satan Surprise for the kid

    Slightly concerned for your holidays!

    • +4

Kid is on the naughty list for sure!

      • +5

What has this world come to. The evil kid gets a Lego train set at an ozbargain price from Satan for Christmas!? I'm doing something wrong…

        • +3

Maybe the kid went… off the rails.

    • LoL I am the guy who always feels stressed when gifting someone.

    • +5

The devil is in the typos.

      • Orz… my bad… didn't realise it till now.

  • +1

Second-lowest historical price for this set on OzBargain.

  • Thanks OP! Got one for my brother for Christmas

    • Glad it helped. What makes it more excited is this model is retiring soon. Better get it now than later.

  • +4

I'm pretty sure the reports about your title are because you need to put the price of the item before the email sign up discount. I.e. put $119.

    • Thanks for correction.

  • +1

Great price, even if you've already got it. Cheap way of getting the electronics for other projects.

  • +2

Bought - hopefully they don't cancel my order like literally every other LEGO set I've tried to buy from them.

    • Did they? That's so bad.

      • Yeah :(

        Good deal nevertheless, OP

        • Same, hopefully they come up with the goods this time. You got good taste in music btw.

Can also get it for $99 with the Little Birdie coupon at Target via Catch if anyone wants to go that far. The coupon from Little Birdie should get delivered instantly via email.

    • +4

THIS. Took me 2 minutes to sign up and get the $20 credit for Catch from them. Got it for $99 with free delivery.

    • Don't suppose it stacks with the $10 coupon?

      • ? The $10 is via Target. The $20 credit is via Catch. So, no.

    • Thanks - got it from there.

    • Awesome. Many thanks.

    • ^ thanks for the deal mate :)

    • lol someone made a new post using your suggestion. Didn't even give you credit for it.

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/591391

      • I didn’t make a post after reading this comment. I didn’t even know it existed. Please don’t speak for myself. If it can come to their mind it can come to my mind to make same deal as well. I have posted a few Little birdie posts already

  • +1

Lol - I just checked my order status and it was rejected…

I don't think I'll ever buy LEGO from Target again. This is the fourth time in a row.

    • Does it mean orders through Catch will get cancelled too?

      • +1

Doubt it…i think it's because I did C&C instead of delivery.

    • I think if Target rejects your order it is usually something related to your credit card. I always use giftcards online and never had a problem. If your order is canceled it can be OOS but rejected is definitely more unusual.

      • Hmm wonder if it is because of that. I used latitude pay

        • Latitude pay should be fine, you cant really chargeback on that. I am not sure then.

    • That's a little annoying. I can see my order is being packed. I can't find a reason they won't honour a genuine order.

  • +1

Thanks OP, just used the newsletter code and with a 5% off gift card through Suncorp rewards and via Cash Rewards. Fingers crossed that all works.

  • I ordered one for click and collect. Already received an email saying estimated collection date 21st December.
    Hopefully it's not cancelled!

  • Thanks Satan.

    • +1

      I didn't mean that lol.

      • +5

Too late! I did a deal with the devil already!

  • I have one of this, how much can I sell it (second hand)?

    • +2

Go on Ebay and look at sold listings.

  • If there's a Satan Surprise, is it better to be on the naughty list?
