  • I want these because I like digital eclipse's work but paying for ROMs is a hard pill to swallow

    • Keep in mind though that downloading roms is illegal and only is in the grey area if games are abandoned which clearly these aren't.

        downloading roms is illegal

        And?

          If you have to ask….

I guess you like to be paid for your work or don't you?

          • @Lysander: I won’t expect to still be being paid for my work I do today, in 26 years time.

I also very much doubt the developers are getting a dime for this. More likely just the shareholders of what ever publisher now owns the IP.

            • @PainToad: Yeah, this is kinda my point. Do want to support Digital Eclipse as they do fantastic archival work but don't feel bad about short changing Disney for a ROM

              • @mrjaytee: Do you really think anybody can cut Disney out from a profit? Disney of all companies?
                Think again.

                • @Lysander:

                  Think again.

You're the one giving them necessary revenue. Not us.

                  • @PainToad: You missed the point but not surprised.
Anyway, I do not condone conduct that is clearly pirating.

                    • @Lysander: No I get your point. Us boycotting this won't have any effect on Disney's profit. My point is why support them at all regardless?

I'm yet to see you justify this opinion at all besides 'pirating a 25 year old game is bad because it's piracy'.

  • The Lion King SNES is where the fun was at

    • +1

I think this might have both the SNES and megadrive versions (?)

  • +1

Thanks Op, comes to 7 bucks per game! 😃

    Switch version on sale $36 - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07XW8DX4R

    • Thanks Op, good thing I didn’t pay more for the physical versions for these…they are so cr@p they aren’t even full screen. 😕

If you’re looking to buy it probably google some game play videos first.
