  • Nothing great. Maybe an srs-xb10 but they're not really punchy nor worth it. Save up and get something better.

    Save up and get a JBL Flip, or maybe get a used JBL Flip 4, they're great!

  • thanks, should of been more specific.
    present for step mum, looking half descent quality and easy to use.

    Too low budget. May be can get anker entry level bluetooth speakers on aliexpress?

    • Anker has sale going on aliexpress. Really nice portable speakers available under $50

  • I was really disappointed with brand name speakers in the lower price category - so I went for a tribit after watching a few reviews - they punch well above their price point. https://www.amazon.com.au/s?k=tribit+speaker&ref=nb_sb_noss_…

    • Second this. I bought the 360 degree 23W one. It was on sale sometime back around $51 (blue color) and I really liked the sound quality ( I am not an audiophile). It comes with button for extra bass as well. Only gripe is that the battery lasts for about 4 hours with xtra bass on.

  • I think an all rounder such as this…

    More stuff ..ok sound..good price atm.

    Edit: sorry not portable. My mistake

  • TGG Commercial via Sunsuper:

    JBL GO 2 $34;
    Sony XB12 $62.

    Sony would probably look more quality.

  • thank. appreciate the feedback

  • Treat yourself and get a $300 portable bluetooth one that sounds more like hifi than a standard portable speaker.

  • I got the anker soundcore, and that's pretty good
