Bad experience with Kogan charging for their Kogan First trial but not sending the reminder email that you can opt-in to receive to warn you a first days before commencing the service and being charged.
Contested it and Kogan’s response was “too bad you subscribed, nothing they can do”.
Appears they rely on a trial subscription trap business model. I will not be using Kogan and not recommending them to anyone.
Yep, it's the same with their phone plans, buy the first month for $3.90 and they take your credit card used to create a recurring direct debit every month at $45 a month.
Once again you have to opt out through the app. Not sure about the legalities of forced opt in of direct debit.
Also when I wanted to cancel my order a few times they did nothing to stop the shipment and even I suspect they expedited my purchase and then the typical "We are sorry" email stating that they did everything they could but they were unable to stop the shipment!
Yep i fell for that also, only realised after 10 months!! Never went to their site after the trial, then something come up on their site interested me from ozbargain and logon bang, Im a member !!!!
