Thank you ynot!! Merry Christmas to you too - Thanks for your support.

      Cheers

  • Rep, any chance we could get a similar deal on the Sumatra? Ordered it in November and absolutely loved it
    Cheers

    • +2

Hey there Griefbringer - so pleased you enjoyed the Sumatra - Enterprise Blend is the STAR of the moment :) - Don't be scared - it's a cracker. We use it in our retail van and it's our most popular all rounder - you wont be disappointed I'm sure.

      Cheers
      Dan

        Cheers, ordered

        • Great stuff - please let me know how it goes for you.

        • +1

We tried the Airjo party pack (one of every blend). Enterprise blend is my favourite. Sumatra is my wife's favourite and I can happily drink it. The other one I'd recommend is Twilight blend (almost entirely coffee, but with a hint of Colombian cocoa - it's smooth as).

  • How does it compare to Pegasus blend?

    • Hey there dajackal - slightly darker roast than the Pegasus - deeper flavour profile - very nice.

      Hope that helps.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • would it be more similar to twilight blend? I didn't enjoy that one as much as Pegasus

        • Darker than Twilight also - Pegasus is closer. - You will definitely enjoy it - I'm super confident. It's my go to blend personally.

  • +1

Ordered. I enjoyed the last blend, happy to give this one a go.

    • Thanks so much gareth886 - really appreciate the chance and feedback.

      Cheers

  • My go-to coffee. Thanks & Merry Christmas guys!!!

    • Thanks so much dealspider!! - Merry Christmas.

Please tell me you don't use sendle.

    • All mine have been delivered via auspost

    • +1

      100% Auspost - :)

    • +1

      Auspost on my last delivery.

Out of curiosity, why the hate for Sendle? I've had one experience with them but it was pretty painless.

      • Everyone’s recent Coffee on Cue experience.

      • These guys had a disaster with sendle: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/583840 - look at the comments.

For me it took 3 weeks to get delivered (according to the tracking). Except I never actually received it and have now requested a refund.

I've ordered from AIRJO now. Looking forward to trying it.

      • My last coffee order via sendle took 3 weeks to arrive.

  • Can I schedule an order? Sorted for the next fortnight

    • Hey Frank - sorry my man - it's a "grab it while you can" kinda thing with these deals.

  • You won a return customer from last deal - lets give this a spin.

    • Fantastic williewuboy!! - Thanks so much.

      • Actually, I do still have some left over from the last deal - is it better buy the beans whole to keep them fresher for longer?

I got given a spice grinder as a gift which says it can do coffee beans; would that be a better option?

        • It is normally better to store whole beans and grind them as you need them yes.
The challenge for you with the "Spice Grinder" is consistently grinding them to the appropriate size for what you need - are you espresso or plunger or something else??

          • @AIRJO CoffeeRoasters: V60 pour over - makes sense to grind as you need them but eyes also water at the $100+ grinders here

Maybe I'll go for beans, try the spice grinder and if it sucks, get a ceramic hand grinder

            • +1

@Hardstuck Silver 2: It’s very hard to get consistency with a spice grinder so you might end up hating the coffee.

The hand grinder would be much better taste-wise, but takes a while.

You could try a second hand Breville Smart Grinder. There are lots advertised for under $100 on Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree. For the price, they are not a bad grinder to start your coffee journey, and you can always sell it if it doesn’t suit or that $700 grinder starts to look reasonable.

            • @Hardstuck Silver 2: Hand grinder 100% been doing it every morning for 5 years. Great way to start a day haha

  • Damn im still working from home so not sure if the misses will allow me to purchase the enterprise blend. Perhaps there is a sitting at home in singlet and shorts alternative? :P

Jokes aside I got onto the sumatra (i think thats the name) blend last time and its been quite enjoyable.

    • Haha - thanks for the feedback ashoz85 - super pleased you are enjoying the coffee.

  • With all the positive reviews, bought one to try. Thanks OP!

    • +1

Thanks heaps Fernley - please let us know how it goes for you.

      Cheers
      Dan

      • Hi Dan, it might be too late, but is it possible to have 2 x 500g bags?

  • Thanks, will give this a shot!

    • Thanks so much rlay3 - really appreciate the opportunity to wow you :)
Please let us know how it goes for you.

      Cheers
      Dan

      Thank you :)

  • +1

Enterprise blend - good enough to keep your employees awake, but not enough to make them want to take some home. Ah pure corporate deliciousness

    • +1

      Haha - thanks……. I think ?

    • I'd not agree with the second part, it's good enough for both.

  • ah bugger - the last few deals have been timed perfectly for me - but this time around, I was running dangerously low and had to go the Aldi beans. Literally opening them today.

    Will be back next time!

    • Sorry we missed you Hobo…..

  • any decaf beans?

    • Sorry aj - no decaf

      • thanks,

  • Hello, is this good with long black in Espresso? Got used to drinking black coffee and havent gone back to adding milk since then :) Currently using Genovese SUPER BRAZIL blend and loving it.

    • Hey there kumzi - quite a diffrerent little number here from Brazillian but certainly a winner in short and long blacks. We use this in our coffee van and black coffee drinkers love it!

      Hope that helps.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • You guys make great coffee…..Sumatra is really, really good and if this better than you are on a winner.
I really want to order but I have just stocked up so unless it can be delayed by a week then I can't order this time.

    • mickyboy1 thank you so much for your comments and feedback - super thrilled that you are enjoying the coffee.
Sorry we can't get one for you this time - hopefully the timing is good for you on the next one :)

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Hi rep, do you think this will arrive before Friday? Thinking this would be a KK present for the weekend

  • +1

vb it's way to hard for me mate to commit - its a crazy shipping time at the moment as you can imagine.
What I can commit to is as speedy as possible shipment from here to Auspost.
    I just don't know - sorry I can't give you certainty.

    Cheers
    Dan

  • Any deals for decaf? I would get 1kg decaf and 250g regular if there was

    • Sorry skidexa - no decaf.

  • oh good timing, I'm almost out of my sumatra beans which were great!

    Ordered!

    • Fantastic - Thanks so much chanleystan :)

  • haven't bought from these guys before, but am willing to give them a try so ordered some

    • Thank you so much - we really appreciate the opportunity. Please do tell us how they go for you.

      Sincerely
      Dan

  • Want to echo all the positive comments here. Drinking my Sumatra now and its the bomb!! +1 for the express post as it got delivered to Perth super quick.

    • Awesome to hear slips9 - thanks so much.

And thanks heaps for the +1 makes a big difference to our day when they start adding up :)

  • I’ve got a Breville oracle and I find it super hard to dial in the shot. Any suggestions?

    • +1

Hey glutamic - if you can email me directly [email protected] we can walk through what's happening for you and try and help.

  • I've had 2 purchases from these guys now and I'm very happy. Shipping was fast, roast was fresh, grind size consistent, quality excellent. Normally I prefer African varieties but I've been pleasantly surprised by this Sumatran. It's smooth, rich, deep, and chocolatey. Obviously if you like fruity notes and more acidity this is not the bean for you.
I have to say I've been liking Queensland roasters more and more lately. The jellybeans are a nice touch too

    • Ayiruos we sincerely appreciate your feedback and the time taken to share. So pleased that you are enjoying the coffee.

      thanks
      Dan

  • Dan, when are you shipping these out?

    • +1

Working on getting them out today as they come in. Later orders may end up not making cut off time and get out am tomorrow.

      Hope that helps.

      Cheers
      Dan

  • Still have a Sumatran on the way but I couldn't pass up an opportunity to try the Enterprise blend.

    • Great stuff rickb - super keen to hear how they compare for you - thank you.

      • I'm in for a treat if your other blends are anything to go by.

  • Giving these a shot after all the positive feedback.

Any indication on origin of the beans?

    • Thanks so much Whorl - Some delicious Colombian and Timor blended in this one :)

      • Awesome, thank you!

  • Strange that ozbargain didn't notify me of this via email (I have a search for Airjo for when something new comes up 😆)

Glad I opened the website today. I'm sorted for Christmas :)

    Thanks Airjo.

    • Excellent asd!! - Merry Christmas :)

  • My previous roaster stopped using valved foil bags and started using waxed paper bags without valves - freshness really suffered as a result (I order 2kg at a time from them in 500g bags to save on postage, but only have about 3 coffees a day so it needs to hold fresh a while), so I'm hoping these ones are in the good bags like the photo since I've ordered 2kg to ensure I can get through the xmas break! :)

  • +1

Thanks so much for your order salem - yes, these are the bags you are looking for :)

    • but damnit somehow I missed seeing the 500g bag option for this one… :( any chance of me updating the order and paying the…uhh..50c extra?

      • +1

Salem flick me through your order number - I will cancel/refund and you can shoot again ok?

        • PM sent

  • Ordered, cheers!

    • +1

      Thanks so much caesarscyther!!

  • costco has some of the best organic beans for $12 1kg

    • +1

Great news nasesco72!! - thanks for sharing, Merry Christmas ;)

  • While I enjoyed the 250 g Sumatra I bought a couple of weeks ago, how do you guys use a kilo of coffee in the 2 weeks the beans go bad after roasting????

Even at double shots and 18g a pop, that's 55 strong coffees in 2 weeks???

    • I can't even smash through 250g quick enough. I can't drink coffee every single day as it increases my anxiety :(

    • 2 coffee a day x 2 people x 14 days = 56.

  • I totally forgot you guys were only based down the coast - happy days hope to see this tomorrow.
