Download the OpenSky app and put in your desired flight location. It will tell you where you can and can’t fly.
Generally national parks require you to obtain permission first, so do that well in advance of your trip there.
The opensky said some parts of PS was free but called the park up to be sure and they were like no.
Does the drone physically stop you from flying in those locations, or is it up to you to check the CASA app and do the right thing by not flying there?
Do the right thing. No restriction in the app beyond the hard no fly zones (eg airports).
I have the old Mavic Air, and always only fly where allowed. Just wasnt sure if they were physically enforcing the no fly zones in the newer Air 2.

Very capable drone, though I sold mine and got the Mini 2 for it's portability and ability to charge in drone.
This one wins for sensor size, and automatic flight modes.
How about wind? How does it goes over ocean.
It goes well. Good in wind up to 50kph. Only loses 0.5m/s vs the air 2.
Though it is lighter, so isn't quite as stable. And less sensors, so doesn't hover as rock solid.
Still plenty good though. Better than the air 1, etc

I went in to an Officeworks store and placed the order through them. Picking up from the store on Thursday but I’m sure you can call OW and do it over the phone as well.

At this point in time, is there actually any places where you can use this? I was planning to get one for my Port Stephens trip but literally the whole area is banned, even though some sites say its fine.
