  • A 3.5in drive at 5400rpm? What??

It's pretty normal for large cheap drives.

    • Don't forget its the lovely SMR variety too! Fun for the whole family!

  • 4 months Adobe creative cloud and 1 year Mylio (whatever that is) included with the SSD

    • Thanks updated.

Maybe it comes w/the portable dev.?

  • Interestingly the images on the site are a mix of the 510 and 520 firecuda, but the description lists the 510.

I don't care anymore what deal they have, I don't support Scalptec.

      context?

      • +1

I'm guessing RTX 30 series GPUs being price jacked

        • Which Scorptec totally have a say over.

I mean if anyone doesnt need anything, hit me up

Postage is about $17 for the cheap options

Its a pretty good deal if you specifically want all 3 items, you are saving about $80 overall + the $50 steam voucher as a bonus.

What is this all the crap that distributors forced them to buy to pick up 3080s?

    • 10 motherboards per video card.

This is just a bundle Seagate are offering to distributors to get more people in their storage ecosystem, hence the Steam credit and Adobe offering.

happy to buy the portable ssd off someone if they dont want it

    Strange combination of drives

    • +14

Is it really though? NVMe SSD for OS plus other important applications, 4TB HDD for storage of files and a portable SSD to take with you.

FYI Seagate BarraCuda 4TB 5400RPM is a SMR drive

I could absolutely use this deal, I need all 3. But screw Seagate and their SMR rubbish.

  • I bought a deal to get a $50 steam voucher.. I submitted it to redeem and just got an email from [email protected] saying:
    "
    Dear customer,

Thank you for your submission for the Seagate Gaming Bundle Promotion. We are about to send the prize to you. However, we couldn’t locate your postal address. Kindly resend it to this email and I will process the shipment after receiving it.

    Thanks.

Isn't this a bit weird.. Usually they just email you the code.

    • Sounds like they're physical codes that you'd find instore
