    • same and same…. why not….

  • Cheers OP! Grabbed 5 packs for delivery :)

  • Ordered 2 lots of 5. Both delivered today at the same time. Awesome deal. Thanks 👍🏼

  • Ordered 5 due for delivery tomorrow. Just got an email quantity supplied 0. Hopeless Coles

  • What a bunch of crooks!

Order due at 6am tomorrow, they send me an email at 8:40pm the night before saying zero stock of the James Squires will be delivered tomoroow morning (Out of stock).

I dropped past the distribution store an hour earlier and asked the worker that was there regarding the James Squire stock situation. The worker (Mitchell's) words 'all good mate, we have heaps of stock'. I also selected the 'substitute with equivalent' box to be safe. No excuses are valid.

They are saying a few hours before delivery there is no stock, nor no equivalent for substitution. Absolute lies!!

Lastly, without the substitution my order drops below the $100 threshold for the 4000 FB pts.

Called up (phone operator was very good) and had the delivery fees waived and escalated to a team leader. Said if the delivery (with Squires or a substitution in full), doesn't arrive tomorrow I wont be accepting the order (not costing me anything for the delivery now anyway). Alternatively they can give me the full 4000 pts for the reduced order, or ok me to collect the lot in store myself. They have sent an 'escalation email' to the delivery centre and a supervisor. We'll see how this play out.

Terrible service Coles….amazingly worse than their website (which wouldn't allow me to do this order as click and collect, even though it is an alcohol pick up store…which they acknowledge is a bug). You would think it would be easier to just allow me to go in and collect them.

    • *update - so I received my order without James squire. Called the call centre again, and they said I could swap it at my local Coles (they have heaps of stock) so I told the guy to leave the order. Went to swap, couldn't. Rang call centre, they now say I can't swap it (delivery and in store being a different platform). I asked for a supervisor/ superior…series of lies 'iam a supervisor sir'…he eventually puts me on hold…5 mins..line disconnects.
Send an email, get a call back. Apparently I have to return the goods to the distribution store (57km trip away, vs my local is 2km!). Told them to stick it. The order is still where the driver left it, reminded them i never acknowledged/ signed I received it. Come get it, I just want a refund. So apparently they 'may' send a driver out to collect it and once it gets back to the distribution centre, will refund me. Also, 'alledgedly' put a $40 credit in my account (which ironically i still can't get what i want because the products arent available on Coles online now+ CHEERS promo is over). In summary, the Coles online product is a shambles. From a buggy website, to an untrained service team, and a dysfunctional distribution centre….Going to buy from Dans with a price match.

  • My order was supposed to be delivered today. Last night at 21:56 I got email that the order was cancelled due to payment issue.
Called Coles helpline this morning and after 15 minutes arguing with the very helpful support it came out that no deliveries on Alcohol due to NSW restrictions because of the COVID outbreak :-(
