Says limited time deal and might not last as I know Amazon been sold out of this version past few days.

Maybe somone can tell us why there is the following 2 versions

Xbox one/ Xbox X
&
Xbox X / Xbox one

Both are the same as they work on both new and old Xbox consoles….I think?

      Isn't Smart delivery just another Microsoft for downloading the game to your Xbox Series X/S and play off the SSD? The same as any other delivery/download in the past?

        No, smart delivery is basically a free upgrade from last gen games to this gen.

  There are 2 versions, one for old Xbox and one for the new XBox Series X. You will need to play an extra to upgrade from current gen (or previous gen?) to the next gen (or current gen?).

      No its not. Cod and some other games are charging for graphical upgrades on "next gen" consoles. If you don't pay/get a specific version of the game you just get the xbox one x/ps4 pro version running in backward compatibility mode.

      Except when a game doesn’t use smart delivery. Like cod, nba 2k21 and control. So please don’t spread false information. This is the version people need to buy if they want the series x optimised version https://www.amazon.com.au/Call-Duty-Black-Cold-Xbox/dp/B08GS… $98 currently. The one on sale $78 will indeed play on series x in backwards compat mode, however it will not access the upgraded series x features.

  This is not the upgraded version with ray tracing and better graphics. The series X version is 98.

    Yes this is what I was referring to. Disappointing I know, but there is a difference. Was just a warning to those who are buying to play on their xbox series x.

  Explanation of the series x versions of Cold War. Note you CAN NOT upgrade the physical Xbox one version to the series x version. Only the digital Xbox version offers a $10 upgrade. Otherwise you need to buy the more expensive series x optimised physical version if you’re wanting that, don’t buy this expecting the upgraded version.   Ones for last gen say "xbox one" at the top on the front cover.

    They do but to confuse things so do the ones with smart delivery, aka free upgrade to next gen. This, however isn’t one of those.
