  • Good prices.

OP maybe worth adding to description:

Free Shipping with $200+ Spend (Otherwise + $6.05 Delivery to Sydney)

    • It’s free shipping when you add code

      • Oh so for under $200 items as well. Cool.

      • Code didn’t result in free shipping on R1855DB ($17.90 to Brisbane).

        • To correct the record, I emailed Wireless 1 about free shipping for this deal and they refunded shipping. Top work, Wireless 1.

  • Whats the difference between the 1700BT and the 1855BT?

    • 1700BT has analog (2x RCA) wired inputs and BT only.

1855DB has analog (2x RCA) + digital (coax / optical) wired inputs, BT and also has subwoofer output.

      • 1855DB also has bluetooth 5 rather than 4.2 if I recall correctly

        • Yes that is correct.
          I was thinking of 1850DB.
1850DB model was replaced by 1855DB which added BT 5.0.

Could anyone please advise if S350DB will be a significant upgrade over Yamaha YAS207 soundbar?

    • +5

I'm not an audiophile, but am uniquely placed to say that yes I much prefer my 350DB over my YAS207. Do it.

      • Thanks mate

    • +1

I own the S350DB, they will piss all over any soundbar… you need a large driver to move the air to create bass.

    Love my S350DB!

  • Edifier S350DB 2.1 or Edifier S3000PRO – 2.0 for gaming only PC?

    • Kinda same question. Is there any reason to go the S350 over S3000 if you have the cash to splash?

Will the bass on S3000 be enough to keep you happy in comparison to the S350?

      • Happy? Yes, but the omph of the sub-woofer can't be replaced. If it's just gaming and movie watching, I'd go with the S350DB. I researched it a lot when I was trying to decide for a desktop setup and went with the S350DB, have been very happy with them.

        • +1

I have the s3000 is hooked up to the TV. Audio quality is exceptional. Just no feel when watching a movie since it's missing the bass. You can turn up the bass in the back, but that cuts into the mids as well since the bigger drivers do mids and bass. S3000 would be too big for most desks and distance wise, the closer you sit, the smaller the sweet spot. Go 350s if you use this on a desk

      • -2

Go with s3000pro its edifier's flagship. s350 wins in low bass, s3000 wins in everything else.

        • Is the S3000Pro too big for desktop setup?

          • @FrugalNotStingy: Lol yes. Couldn't imagine putting mine on a desk. It'll be half the desk. You want to sit at least 1.5m away from these as well

            • +1

@plague69: I was tossing up between the S350 and S3000. I have a long desk but don’t want the workstation (or PLAYstation) to look stupid by having the speakers towering over the other stuff. After reading your comment, for my desktop, the S350 it is!

    • Get the 3000. I have this and the 360 for my PC. 3000 wins hands down even without the sub. 3000 has USB connection too.

i am a proud owner of S350DB and would just like to say if anyone is on the fence about buying these… jump that fence and run over to buy them! i was umm-ing and ahhh-ing over buying them to finally upgrade from my Logitech Z4's, the second I plugged them in and cranked some music I legit almost creamed!
they are so, sooo worth it at this price!

    • +1

This comment convinced me, can't wait to cream me jocks!

    • Couldn't resist the temptation anymore and bought S350db. Time to put my Yamaha 207 on the marketplace….

  • Not sure why the gaming rgb G2000 is not on sale.

    • Yes that model was excluded from BF sale as well.

    • 10% Code: BOXING from this deal works on G2000.
Still have to pay shipping though.

  • Thanks, picked the 3000pro.

  • Thanks! I also picked up the 3000PRO, had my eye on these since I missed the Black Friday sale

  • thanks. grabbed the s350db to replace my z5500, based on the rave reviews here and the internet. going to be interesting if I miss the surround, if I do I'm wondering if I could get something like the R1280DBs to run in like 4.1. anyone tried something like that?

going to be a bit sad saying goodbye to the logitechs, I'd say they've been with me for 15+ years. they were one of my first big computer-related purchases, and I still sort of remember the discussions with family about getting them.

    • Let me know how it goes, since I replaced my z5500 with s3000 and thinking of going back to the z5500 for movies.

  • Bought the S350DB from the OzBargain deal last time. The quality of the speakers and subwoofer is really good but there is this high pitched whine that comes out of the speakers. It might not be noticeable if you're using it for your TV and sitting far back but I'm using it as desktop speakers and it gets quite noticeable.

I'm thinking of returning these now. The whine only started today and I've had them for almost week without issues before that.

Googling 'edifier s350db high pitch noise' gives you results of exactly what I'm experiencing. It only appears in PC, AUX and Bluetooth mode. If anyone has a solution I'm happy to hear because the sound quality otherwise is great.

    • I believe you may have a faulty set of S350DB, I'm using AUX (connected to PC) and I experience no 'whining' noise. I'm sitting about 55cm away from the speakers. I had these since late OCT if that helps you narrow down your batch. If your still in the 30 return days period, I'll return it and grab it from here. If it's any help I'm using a jaycars electronic AUX cable.

Message to others: I strongly recommend these speakers (i.e. S350DB), the $299 price tag is not cheap for your typical PC user but I can guarantee your ears will appreciate them. I'm on zoom meetings, listening to lectures and, podcasts often throughout the week and the ability to adjust the treble and bass on the site of the speaker is a luxury. I barely have to turn the volume up loud to get a crisp and clear sound (Really minimises headaches). As for the build quality, the wood finish on these speakers is fabulous (you will really love it), the subwoofer is heavier than you would expect and I guess that's why I felt like it was such a premium product. Just one thing though, the edges of the speaker and subwoofer can possibly get blunted easily if your not careful (e.g. banging the vacuuming machine or mop against the subwoofer).

      • Issue comes and goes. I've messaged edifier already still waiting for a reply. I bought these from wireless 1 for the same price a week or two ago.

        • Your still in the 30 day period, get a refund and just purchase a new set mate. The longer you leave it the harder it will be to get a refund. According to ACCC, your entitled to a refund if the product shows a major fault (which it does). — This is just my suggestion and what I would do

      • Just received mine and unfortunately have the same whine. From the R powered speaker, quite audible.

Need to contact wireless 1 or edifier, is it likely to be just that R speaker faulty? Or the whole system including sub etc? Annoying having to post that all back.

    • Change power to something not connected to your PC and try. (Another wall power point)

If your speakers on BT still whine while connected to the phone then it's speakers power supply issue, either hardware or other power interference.

Eg. Older motherboards with poor isolation between audio Power and mainboard rails. More prominent when the graphics card and CPU is sucking up power

  • Bought the S350DB to replace my Z506 unit. Let’s see how good/bad it is.

  • I see lots of comments about using the S350DB as a computer setup, would they work well as a TV setup? Thanks.

    • Have S350DB as TV setup. It's great, that sub is wonderful for movies. However it does not have HDMI ARC, which is mostly on soundbars, and allows the TV to control the power/volume directly. With the S350DB you'll need to use its own remote. Not a big deal, but if you're changing from a soundbar that might be annoying. The toslink (optical) cable that comes with it is only 1.5m, and if the optical output is on the opposite side of the TV to where you want to put your sub you'll need a longer cable. Think about where you want to put the sub and measure it to see if 1.5m is enough, don't set it up and have to wait another week for a cable like me… Also you may need stands or something for the speakers, unless you have a very wide entertainment unit.

  • Still getting a delivery fee for $24.65 to SA with code applied for the R1700BT, am i doing something wrong?

    • +1

You have to go all the way through the process of buying the speakers (before clicking "pay now", or whatever), and then click "edit shipping", it will take you back to the shipping options and $0.00 free shipping will be available to choose.

      • Ah right cheers

  • +1

I got the s350DB on the last special. Massive upgrade from my yamaha soundbar. The sound just so much crisper and the base (even though I had a subwoofer attached to the soundbar) is much much better. The quality of these speakers for the price is amazing. Bought a second lot on this special for the TV at the farm now too

    • Hey mate. Which Yamaha model did you have?

      • Yas-108

  • +2

For Perth buyers (maybe same for other locations, not sure - I'm in Perth), I bought the R1700BT last week expecting them to arrive after Christmas and they were delivered in less than 48hrs with "drop ship" written on the box…. was a nice surprise since they're a Christmas present. So yeah, fast shipping for those speakers in Perth - not sure if it's the same for other models.

  • Is the S350DB worth the price difference over the R1855DB?
I'm looking for a PC speaker setup.

  • Best active sub to connect to the Edifier 1280?

  • Is the code no longer working?

I currently have an edifier s330d, would the S350db be a significant improvement?

  • Code no longer working

  • Received mine today. Will setup later and give my feedback :-)

    • Wow, that was quick. I am still waiting for mine but I am not expecting to receive it before xmas. Did you choose express shipping by any chance?

      • I used standard free shipping.

      • +1

I got mine today as well. Regional northern nsw. So it arriving before Christmas may be more likely than you think.

        • Not sure what’s going on. Do you receive a shipping notification before you receive yours? I have yet to receive a dispatch email.

          • @FrugalNotStingy: Apparently they don't supply the shipping emails, you have to look through your account. If you're like me and didn't make an account when buying, you'll have to call I think.

            • @Bananawon: It’s my first time ordering from them directly though I had purchased from them via eBay before. I did make an account after making the order but the order doesn’t show on my account. They only sent me the invoice upon order completion. So I need to call before they will ship?

            • +1

@Bananawon: Yep 100% what Bananawon said, the last email I got from wireless1 was invoice/order confirmation. I didn't create an account either. Was totally not expecting it to arrive today, especially with Christmas deliveries.

              • @focused77: OK! In that case I’ll see if it will arrive tomorrow (but won’t be home in the afternoon), if not then I’ll just call them after Christmas. Did they use Auspost?

Cashrewards didn’t track so that got me a bit worried my order hasn’t gone through successfully.

    • First impressions aren’t great (comparing against my previous system, Z506). I couldn’t get the optical cable connection to work (from PC). Bluetooth worked ok but the sound quality was not as good as I expected. Will keep playing around with the settings a little bit. Hopefully I’m doing something wrong.

      • I couldn’t get the optical cable connection to work (from PC).

Make sure the digital output settings on PC are PCM stereo. If it set to Dolby digital 5.1 or something you can have issues.

        • Thanks buds. Managed to get it working by running the windows troubleshooter.

  • Just received my S3000PRO and they sound better than I'd hope, it might just be in my head but I do notice a bit of lag while playing FPS PC games connected via Bluetooth, which is a shame since that was the only reason I bought them. But over all very happy.

    • do notice a bit of lag while playing FPS PC games connected via Bluetooth

Bluetooth will always have lag, also S3000Pro uses wireless technology to connect between L&R speakers, so there is a little bit of lag there too (together with Bluetooth there will be even more).
Using other wired inputs should be less lag.

      • Thanks a lot, you are right, I have connected them to my PC with the included USB and the lag is imperceivable to me now, they are also running at 192k hz. Couldn't be happier.

        • What is the bass like?

There are numerous comments, some people say that the bass is excellent, others say "it is missing that low rumble"
