So $708 per year, with $400 back in gift card.
That’s not too bad, net cost $309 if you need the data.
For me I only used about 60-70gb last year so I got the $300 12 month prepaid price matched from Telstra to office works for $228 ($~19 per month)They are counting on people calculating things as if they're going to ditch the account at exactly the right time instead of staying with Telstra where they will pay one or more months at the full $59. Also note that $400 isn't cash. You can only really count it if you really were definitely going to spend OVER $400 at GG.
It'll still be a good deal for those willing to set themselves reminders and who actually were looking at buying something from GG but for post people "It's a trap!".

I signed with JB within 3rd qtr 2019
and get that $500 gift card which I used to buy new iphoneso possible will come again in 3rd qtr of 2021 when iphone 12 about 1 yr old
With both JB and TGG offering this deal, I wonder if the $500 gc will be offered between Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Both promotions seem to be running until the 3rd of Jan 2021 but could end at any time.

I think they are separate from the retail fronts. For convenience, I tried getting retail to price match an item in exchange for something else I was returning that I had bought from Tggc. They couldn't and told me to go through the website.

Work pays for my phone I just have to expense it each month and I've already expensed in December so ideally would want the firdt bill in January.

I called my local TGG and they were offering the $600 gc for $99/month as well. Might be good for those who can expense phone bills with work.

I’ve been happy on my Black Friday $39 per month with 35Gb data for years… they switched me over to the $55 plan last month without a warning… 40gb data but no 5G… hoping they do some deals over the holiday period

I'll probably hold out and see if something better comes for Boxing Day. However we normally Sell our phones on gumtree every 12 months and take up a plan like this. It makes upgrading not crazy expensive.
The Telstra website says the $10 port in bonus ends tomorrow, I'm assuming that includes JB/Good Guys plans as well.
Those that are waiting for the $500 bonus, you may end up paying $69pm ($828yr) waiting for the $500.
You'll be paying an extra $120 to get a bonus $100.
It works out better paying the $59pm ($708yr) and getting $400 bonus.Just a thought.
