I was going through the questions without signing and saw the below. It must be good if Sydney Uni has ranked it as no.1. However, only 64% lost weight by 5%. 5% is quite low. I just lost 3.7 % in four weeks using Garmin connect and free myfitnesspal app.

Articles in several medical journals describe the results that Noom users have achieved.
BMJ - British Medical Journal: 64% of Noom users lost more than 5 percent of their weight.
Scientific Reports: 78% of Noom users sustained weight loss over 9 months.
Sydney - University of Sydney’s Medical Center ranked Noom the number 1 out of 800 weight loss programs

        If HOLIDAY200 works, I'll upvote…

  • Guessing one has to be a new user to get this? Wife uses and likes it.

  • I didn't come across where to enter the discount code. Where can this be entered?
I clicked through the link and entered personal preferences to get a 75kg -> 60kg personal 4 month plan with a 50% discount (total $159), no other option.
The trial offered came with a choice of amount to pay for the 14 days. up to $26, but I clicked $1.

    • jumped the gun… I received an email after timing out the initial signup countdown and the link there let me enter the discount code.

      • I did the same…still waiting for email after 10 minutes :(

  • Is this discount available in-app? There are plenty of horror stories about cancelling credit card payments.

Pay with paypal and cancel authority within Paypal. Then, they can never charge you “accidentally”.

  • Wondering why so many bad reviews:

Huh, noticed the one glowing review that sounds like an employee. Used all the key phrases. Great value, believes the weight loss will be permanent etc etc. When you are going to write a fake review it pays to not be so bloody obvious.

I have seen their ads on TV recently and it looked like another scam. All the people who supposedly lost weight had either English or American accents. And were clearly actors.

I would avoid at all costs….

      • Omg their accents are so grating

At its core Noom is just a food tracking program with some nutritional advice thrown in. If you want to track your food (calorie/kilojoule) intake you’re better off using the MyFitnessPal app which is more comprehensive, better designed and, unlike Noom, free.
