I never played this on the N64, but now I can play this on the PC and I wanted to make sure more people knew about this.

Was doom64 any different to the classic doom variants already available on steam?

  Yes, it is a sequel to Doom 2 and the atmosphere is different, it also has the id Tech 1 engine modified.
  
  It contains 32 new levels, newly rendered enemy models with two new enemies, higher quality sound effects, new textures, enhanced lighting effects, and a new upgradeable gun.

Thanks, still dollar cost averaging the N64 games I bought 2+ decades ago
