This feels like a good price to me.

With a 1366x768 display, it is not.

  • $599 might be a ok price

You could downgrade a little, and replace that powerful dual core four thread processor with a 4 core 8 thread one and trade the HD display for a full HD display a mere extra -$241.94, bringing the price to $557.06 :

I've rarely seen a "bargain" at the Good Guys although they were never quite as blatant as a hardly normal place at boosting their prices a few weeks before a sale so their "specials" were often higher than nearby stores' normal price…

768p display, dual core CPU? Just get Lenovo Thinkpad E14 Gen 2.

  • Cheers for the post but I feel this ain't great

  • No deal, this is worth $650 tops.

  • AMD Ryzen 3,1366x768 display
Thinkpad E14 Gen 2 is much better deal.

The screen resolution is enough reason as to why this isn't a deal.

    Dual core for gaming. Pass!

I bought 6 core with FHD for less than this (edu lenovo), very bad deal for those specs, I would never buy dual core in 2020, but if you absolutely had to - IMHO it should be around $500-600 max :(

  • Hilarious how stores like Harvey's, JB, Good Guys etc try and flog Ryzen 3xxx series as good deals when they're not.

Crappy screen is an instant deal killer for this one.

Holy cow that blurb is worse than the normal exaggeration and hyperbole. It's straight out lying.

  • Let's not forget this is HP so you need to shell extra to get extended warranty as this will fail immediately after regular warranty expires (had 2 HP laptops failed - fortunately for the second one I had bought JB's extended warranty so got full refund back).

  • Enjoy powerful responsive gaming

Great. I was thinking of finishing off Eye Of the Beholder 2 during the holidays and then I reckon this one will be blindingly fast for Descent..
