Its very good price for vitamix blender , only for $399 (save $200). Previously this same price was available at Kitchen Warehouse but I haven't seen it on Amazon for a while.

I am still new to Ozbargain, so consider it and if the formatting isn't right, you can suggest and I will improve. cheers.

Same price @ DJ's https://www.davidjones.com/brand/vitamix/22633371/066571-E31… (thanks to @8azinga)

And also on Kitchen Warehouse $399.95 https://www.kitchenwarehouse.com.au/Vitamix-Explorian-Series… .

I prefer through amazon, but its all your choice. cheers.

    Thanks DEALS1984

  • Same price at DJ's. Amazon probably price matching them.

    • Yes, you are right. But I prefer buying through Amazon as they provide really good customer service if anything goes wrong.

I've got a Vitamix that's more than 14 years old that looks like this model and we use it all the time. Abuse it with lots of use. Still goes strong.

  • Picked mine up a year ago from DJs for over 400 and have used it almost every day since. Contacted vitamix twice on the phone and both times had the same rep.

    • so your point is…..?

Buy a Vitamix, make a friend.

I have this unit and can confirm it's a beast of a machine, but if anyone is buying it predominately for smoothies and nut milk, I'd recommend getting a vacuum blender. Smoothies are way smoother without all the froth produced by a non-vacuum blender, and nut milk flows much easier through a nut bag without all the froth getting in the way.
My near new Vitamix E310 has not been used since I bought the Philips vacuum blender on this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/546212
When the Philips dies I'll probably buy a third party vacuum kit for the Vitamix like this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BioChef-Vacuum-Blender-Jug-Pump-…
I actually regret buying the Vitamix.

    • Bit much for just a pump

      • If you are referring to the vacuum kit, it does come with a jug, but I agree it's still expensive. It's why I regret buying the Vitamix.
The smoothies and nut milk the Vitamix produces are foamy and quite inferior to that produced by a vacuum blender. Vitamix will be left far behind by its competition if it does not introduce vacuum blending to its range IMO.

  • bgazer's comments above make me wonder how this one is:

I bought that blender for my sister last month. It's a pretty versatile unit, but at only about 600w it's not as powerful as the Philips let alone the Vitamix.
I used it a couple of times and found it to make nice smoothies, but when blending carrots, celery, etc. you will need to let it run a couple of mins to get a smooth result.
I did not make any nut milk with it. Removing the cap after the vacuum has been released is a lot easier than the Philips. Removing the cap on the Philips is no problem for me, but I wouldn't say buy my mother that Philips blender.
