$20 for a portable DVD player, that just seems wild.

I remember my sister and I having one of these on road trips and Christmas trips to see the family an hour away, was so cool at the time!

  • The DVD player says USB interface, does that mean it can play media off a USB drive?

I'm assuming and hoping so, otherwise there's ports to hook up things to.

      • It sounds like it should play the listed file types of a USB

        Fully compatible with DVD/VCD/CD/MP3/WMA/JPEG/MPEG/AV

I think the other ports are for video-out. It would be handy to have video-in but I doubt it has that

    • I hope so. That would be a bonus. I'll report back once I get my order.

    • If anyone is wondering, the DVD player can play movies of the USB if it's the .av file type. It doesn't work with .mp4 video files

  • Where are all the good 55” and 65” deals on decent Samsung / LG TVs?! Trent the TV man, Rogue Wolf, help!

If you have a family member spending extended periods of time in a hospital and they aren’t all up into smart phones, portable DVD players are still quite handy. Also helpful when having to unexpectedly look after someone else’s kid and you aren’t cool with handing over your own smartphone to entertain them.

Thanks. I bought one of those portable DVD players as a backup machine. They are really handy to have for road trips or as a low powered device to watch movies on at home.
