  • Do you need to be in Turkey ( or use VPN) to activate these on a Turkish account ?

    • +1

Nope just apply under the account section and it will register the Turkish amount.

      • Cheers. About to run out and wasn't sure if I needed to use the VPN to reconnect to Turkey to apply them and maintain the cheap rate.

      • +1

Sorry I'm a bit of newbie here.
So I purchase this card and apply it in my account section.
And it's for 1 year or what? Not following how it's a deal.
Also it specifically says on g2a website that it's not for Australia. So it definitely works without any tricks?

        • +2

No you need to switch your account to Turkey first via VPN then you can use these cards.

        • What is 100tl equivalent to?

          • -1

            @Queue2Queue: Two 50’s

          • +1

            @Queue2Queue: About 19 AUD

          • +1

            @Queue2Queue: 100 Turkish Lira is about ~AUD$18.
But I googled it and the Turkish Netflix rate is about AUD$6.95 per month for premium.
So if this is just a way to get the Turkish rates in Australia then this is a good deal.
Can't work out otherwise how this is a deal… Sorry again new to all of this.

          • +2

            @Queue2Queue: I have a Netflix Turkey premium subscription (ultraHD): 41.99 TRY/month.

Thus 100TRY worth around 2.4 months

I need 500TRY for a full year, thus with this G2A promo it would cost me AU$99.05/year (AU$8.26/month).

Oh, it might be cheaper with shopback cashback too

      • You mean, we can login without VPN to Netflix (i.e. Netflix Australia) and apply the gift card?

        • Yep assuming you are already signed up under Turkey.

  • +1

Huh why use these? Isn't the spot rate via credit card cheaper?

    • +8

Some cards just don't work unfortunately (all of mine), netflix just errors out. These are a good work around.

  • Good price. Paid $21 last time.

    100 Turkey

    Stuffed?

  • +6

G2A are not authorised sellers of anything on their site.

Game developers have gone as far as saying they obtain their keys and codes with stolen credit cards.

    Don't support them.

  • Mine says $19.41 aud

  • Netflix Sorted till Jan 2022
My cards all failed few month ago so gift cards were the only way…
100tl gives you 2 months & 10 days ultra HD subscription

    • I had the same issue so did the exact thing but for standard. I wonder why you got the neg.

    • So you can add multiple codes and they stack increasing length of netflix access?

      • Yes, mine are loaded to July 2022.

  • Op. Can I purchased more than one 100TL card to top up every time credits is finished?

    • you can purchace multiple times and stack'em for long time, now i dont have to worry about it till mid 2022

      • Thanks. However do you have to use VPN when you watch or online need VPN to make a Turkish Netflix account?

        • No restriction about VPN, but you can use VPN to watch more show/movies since aussie netflix is still behind the usa/japan for content.

        • No need vpn to watch, although you need vpn during netflix sign up (especially during payment page).

Use windscribe custom plan to choose Turkey (to make initial payment) and potentially windflix (to play US movies), it is only US$2/month. If you don't want to watch US show, just cancel the windflix

      • +1

I would advise against doing this given Netflix may at some point in the near future close accounts that are using this loophole. Not saying I have insider information, but for the sake of saving a few bucks in the long term you may lose $100+ by stacking too much and getting the banhammer. My strategy is to top up when required and not getting too far ahead of myself. Currently have premium Netflix Turkish account active until March, I believe it cost me around $30 for four months worth.

  • Question, let's say I get 1 year worth and they increase the price in 10 months, if I apply the gift cards beforehand, will the price spike apply to me?

    • +1

Question, what kind of bear is best?

    • +2

No the way it works is you have credit in your Netflix account. Each month they deduct from that credit. If the price rises next month your credit will decrease quicker.

  • Getting a "The code entered is not valid". Using VPN to connect to Turkey, and trying to redeem it on the Turkish Netflix site.

    • Go into your g2a account, it isn't the code on your email (that's the shipping #)

      • It's the one that appears in the "SafeKeys" section in "My Keys" right?

      • All good though, just bought another one from the other seller (1c more). Worked perfectly and have Netflix Turkey activated again! Success!

    • Which VPN? I don't believe it will work with NordVPN. I have NordVPN and had to use a different VPN to get it to work.

      • Was reading through the other Netflix Turkey thread and used Hola. Am able to connect to the site fine, just redeeming it doesnt work.

      • Hola worked in the end, just bought another code, success!

  • I used to pay using these gift cards before but now my monthly Netflix Turkey subscription fee is auto-charged to my Transferwise card, where I maintain a Turkish Lira balance. Cheaper and more convenient. Also doing the same with my Youtube India sub.

    • How did you get the card accepted? I tried several times and it wouldn't let me…

      • I had a VPN running when logging in to my accounts. That would have been about 8 months ago.

        • Edit: wow, I just managed to add my TransferWise card!

Existing Turkish account (started via VPN with giftcard a few months ago). Existing Aussie phone number already in account.

Just now opened settings without VPN and added my card. Easy as. Should have tried that much earlier, so much time wasted trying to do this via VPN.

Connected back via VPN to check: still on Turkish plan, and found a 1TL transaction on my TransferWise account (pending, I assume to verify the card).

    • After opening my account with a gift card, Netflix allowed me to add a Transferwise debit card. I assumed my next payment would come straight out of my Transferwise A$ account at the Turkish Lira rate. Is it essential to open a Turkish Lira account for the payment to go through?

  • The %off is a made up figure. TL100 converts to AUD 17.41. Sure, no one sells the gift cards at that price on G2A, people have to pay fees and want to make a living, but there is no fixed price that could be '17% off'.

As a rule of thumb: <$20 is cheap, >$20 might be worth waiting a few days if you need more than 1 card. The price appears to follow something like our fuel cycles, jump up by a lot, then slowly trickle down over time.

Pick a reputable seller. I bought 3 cards from Oyunonecom on different days and they all worked without any problem.

  • As some people have mentioned: the risk is that Netflix Turkey will raise prices. Even though they show 'paid until' on the account, best I can tell that's just an estimate based on current prices, the card value is stored in TL, not in months, which makes sense, as it allows you to change plans.

  • Using Windscribe Turkey is throwing the error " this code cannot be redeemed". Netflix support has asked me to wait for 24 hours as the merchant may not have activated it!

    • Try without vpn .. it worked for me

      • Thanks mate. The issue was with their gift card. The seller sent a new gift card key and it worked.

  • +1

    100 Turkey? Some sort of Christmas offer, right .. :-) .. ??

  • Google:

    100 Turkish lira equals
    17.33 Australian Dolla

    • Gift card sellers add a premium, many much higher than this deal.

  • I pay only $5.10 (29.99 TL) using my revolut debit card.

    • Good to hear rovoult works

  • Thanks OP. I just bought one card. But bugger, the price now is $20.11
I wanted to buy more than 1 card but saw the price had gone up. You think this is a boxing day or end of year sale or is this just some now and then sale?

    • It's like fuel cycles. You never know when the price hits bottom, but after every jump up it slowly trickles down again.

  • Thanks OP!

Grabbed 4, paid up until October!

  • Has anyone cancelled their existing subscription in order to reactivate with a VPN for a Turkish account. I just did, and I'm trying to reactivate the subscription now, using NordVPN connected to Turkey, but the subscription plans it's displaying is in USD (8.99, 13.99, 17.99). What am I missing?

    • Reading the comments on the other posts, it seems this doesn't work with NordVPN… Now, which VPN to make use of?

      • Windscribe worked for me back in October.

  • Bump 👍😀

  • I used Hola and I just created a new account and redeemed the gift card. All good.

Now to check whether we should continue with new gift gards or setup TransferWise account as mentioned above.
Already waiting for my TransferWise card, so let's see.

    Thanks!
